I've gone non-turreted, loved the wolverine and the slugger :D
Currently at the T28, and waiting for my NA account to be transferred lol
But anyway, the slugger has to be one of my favourite TD's. Something to note is that although the stats for frontal hull armour are 114mm, it's only on the LOWER hull that it matches the stats. Not sure what the upper part is, but I've certainly never had any trouble turning it into a cheese grater! This is helpful when cresting a hill, as it makes enemy bounce the critical first shot, giving you time to send them a little steel gift... The 90mm top gun was pretty good, acurate, not too slow on the reload and aiming, and with good pen and damage for it's tier.

got the M18 and its fun to play. I suggest you get enough free experience and credits so that you could buy asap the Wright Continental R-975C4 ;).. slugger? bought that too but like what they've said, it depends on what kind of tanker are you, if you are really a TD then you should know whats better for you (shoot and scoot). M18 is also good if you have camo in 100% in one of your crew then added with camo net :)...(be a passive scout, no shooting, let them pass :D, let the bigger guns take them). I usually have my m18 on reverse mode so that i could scoot away faster. reversing speed not quite good (note that M18's accelaration is not that good). :Smile_harp:

m18 will get you into a posi where you can swat some of their quick meds or lights, very early. But you need to keep your ego in check. GEt a couple of hits and use that speed to pull back - remember you are not a t50 with a 90mm gun, your turret turns too slowly and accuracy on the move is crap.

Is it just me or does the the M18 Hellcat feel more powerful than the T25/2? My hits penetrate more and does more damage and not bounce off (at least that's how I feel) on same tier enemies than on the T25/2? I'm not complaining at all (I love the Hellcat) but apart from the armor, the T25/2 doesnt feel an upgrade at all from the M18.

lets see, T25/2 right? you got more HP, bit armour upgrade, size upgrade and the most important is...
a 10mm penetration upgrade with the same damage output ( 240 FTW!)  for the last gun, cheers!!
all because you have a turret! :Smile_veryhappy:

Well i prefer the M36 slugger than the m18 hellcat..though the m18 is fast but it lacks armor..usually takes 2 hits with my slugger..my play style though is snipe & scout

M18: Boost your view range and cammo... how many hits it can take is less of an issue.  I often shoot beyond "norm" even making good hits on tanks unseen.  Its like an SPG with a sniper scope.  Other times its a great forward tank to make first strikes then get away.

Haven't an opinion on the M36 but suspect it is also not a brawler.

i think its cuz ur vs ing higher tiers so it feels inferior to the m18 while on paper it is far superior.
