don't forget to penalize the CHEATERS and give the proper winners their victories/gold incomes.

They exploited a glitch, you cannot expect people to not use a massive advantage.

You might get your victories- big might- but I doubt any punishment will get metted out, nor would I expect any compensation.z

OK...nice WG. Glad to know that you are paying attention seriously. We won a hard fought province yesterday but was not given the territory. Ticket I believe was submitted by our High Command.

In all..more time for me to grind to level X on a few lines that I have been wanting to do.

We got taken off the map two nights ago and were fighting to get back on, it is good that WG have admitted the map is broken and it needs a major overhaul.

It's a tradition that everytime new patch comes out, it fracks up the CW

The problem is, is that SEA has a limited population, and these constant failures in QA is going to kill CW on this server.

Every time there is CW downtime, it is another chance for another game to "steal" players from WOT.  I hope they realise the seriousness of it because much more of this and people will simply not come back.

I'm already off playing single player games to pad my ego stats. WoT is a social, but rage inducing.

Hence, I finally finished the CoD1 campaign, im redoing the BFBC2 campaign and ive started on the Empire Earth campaign. I'd play WoT more, but my nets on the fritz anyway...


But your point is good, people who are here just for CW will drop off if these bugs and downtime periods continue.

What glitch are people talking about? I know some provinces that should have changed hands didn't due to system failures, but I don't see how the players could influence that.

Something about a technical defeat not going through, so if you don't defend the territory, it usually wasn't conquered by the invaders.

No, the system is doing the technical defeats, not the players. MP and Pirates had a proper full fledged battle where MP won after a fun fight, however the system allocated the win to Pirates by you guessed it, technical defeat system failure, and then the pirates had a technical defeat awarded against them to the property owner. So there is no exploiting going on that I can see, just dumb luck. Likewise I have heard reports from other clan leaders where they too had proper battles however had a lost recorded against them after a win.

In any case, after notifying Tan as to the state of CW last night he was able to contact those responsible for it's maintenance and have it suspended till fixed. So let's hope they get it back up quickly and working properly.

Here is a novel suggestion why don't you do some QA before you introduce the code onto production

Good idea. I can completely see WG introducing Q/As with question like 'Do you want Clan Wars to be released with an unforseen and potentially exploitable bug that will cause CW to go down for an unspecified amount of time?'.

      so what your trying to say is that it is ok to exploit the cheat in the system?
