As an aside, any thoughts on the Tank Power series of books? Its mostly reprints of other books with translations to English and Polish, but some of the books they've gotten rights to are pretty damn rare.

I haven't lived there for 10 years, stuffed if I know. Ask Stom.

Wait, Dubbo Military Museum is a real place?

I thought it was along the lines of the Alice Springs Mineral Spa and Relaxation Camp.

[Edit. Huh. So it is.]

Back in my day Dubbo used to be the mass "war storage" for the RAAF. I did a 'staff visit' there in 1985, we looked at one of facilities which had old aircraft parts, 50 crates of Mustang wings, 50 crates of Beaufighter wings (all new) went for scrap......I cried a little inside.

Dubbo is most famous for its zoo, which was used as a training camp for WW2. It's not uncommon for bullet cartridges to be found when digging around where the firing range was.

Dan
That's a bit weird because there are a bunch of review sites with recent reviews of the museum.

There's appears to be something still there. Google maps shows signs pointing to it plus there is a bomber parked nearby https://maps.google....tralia&t=h&z=18

Can't see the bomber from street view, would have thought it hard to hide from that distance.

I saw a montage of E3 on The Project, which included a 1-2 second shot of someone playing tanks. Hope you're having a good time Nick.

I know, and I won't be. :(

Maybe if everyone who visits asks where I am...?

I have concluded that the single most critical thing to the functioning of the office here is the coffee machine.

Its status is routinely emailed to the entire company. If it's offline for more than two days we get hardship pay
