it would be more appreciated if a date would be announced, and the is atleast 72 hours prior to the start of campaigns.

Probably starts around the 6th when clan wars will be frozen.

"Regarding Fame Points farming
Wargaming recognises the fact that some players may take advantage of some elements - including diplomatic agreements between clans - to 'farm' Fame Points. This is severely frowned upon, and we reserve the right to demand any clan suspicious of carrying out any such activity to provide our admins with replays of any battle in Clan Wars. This is to discourage players from taking part in such activities and to promote real battles as a more attractive way to earn Fame Points."

Well isn't that interesting.
There's quite a few clan-wide fame point additions too. Get the spreadsheets out boys, this campaign won't rig itself.

Can we let the WG guys have Cyprus back again and take turns? Also thats a long way west, would suck for the Eastern Clans

Cyprus. The most Western Timezone possible. 4AM prime time for anyone in NZ. 2AM in AUS.
With 8 hours worth of timezones it was never going to be situated in an ideal TZ for everyone, but at least you could have attempted to be near the middle. That way if clans wanted to put the effort in they could. This choice is beyond the limits of a little effort.

Cool, so I'll just place a chip stack on
Queensland... Nope
Jakarta... Nope
Japan? Nope
India? Nope
China at least? Nope

Lets face it, we're fighting over Russia, and even then its more of the bits that even the Russians don't care much about. Mongolia, and finally the highlight, the Middle East. You'd think just so this could be a little more balanced they might either enable a more central province just outside the current map (Somewhere around Tibet, or some Russian Gulag Island off the top coast), or just scrap it for now and enable a more friendly map.

Sarge: What a way to go. Killed by my own mechanical creations. I'm sure there's a philosophical lesson to be learned from all this.
