With the changes to many of the maps (ie removing trees, flattening hills etc) along with the removal of td cammo bonus upon firing it seems WG is pushing to open maps of everyone being visibale to all just running around shooting anything that moves?? Sure there are some games that are big time camping but there always seems to be a massive pendulum effect whereby whinning in the forums causes WG to go too far the other way with changes. If i wanted a game with little strategy and just run around pumping rounds of ammo off i would go and play counter strike....

But I am oppen to seeing how it goes with the changes, i just hope you don't go too far in a direction and lose original game players as the game moves into an entirely different style of game.

Stop whining. These changes will greatly affect those maps in a positive way, not a negative one.

Here is my prediction for 3 months time.... There will be forums full of "med tanks are too OP" posts. I predict that with the new map changes the balance has now shifted to very fast. agile and low profile mediums. I think we will see fields full of B-C, Leopards, elc AMX, etc. Now these tanks are not OP and never were but as the maps lend themselves more to this style of play you will naturally get movement of the palyers to this. As stated above i am happy to just wait and see how 8.11 goes and not really having a whine as i will simply take out more tanks that are low profile and fast. TD's with long reload times and slow movement will pretty much dissapear i think but those with fast load times or auto-loaders will remain in the game but will be more open to enemy lights/meds such as arty used to be.

It will be interesting times when play opens up on the pub servers :-)

But you made it look like I was the one double posting, hehe.

Awell. Can't wait for Redshire to be re-vamped. Might even turn on Encounter mode for that new set-up; it could be interesting (but probably not).

well we had the Maus and e100 OPness, followed by the type 59 and IS7 scourge, then the bat chat ridiculousness, all this time arty was OP, then it was the foch 155, now its the wafflewagon that serves up some flaming waffles.

something has to be next...

I really like the new main theme they're using in the background of this review video. Sounds like they updated the classic log-in screen music?

One thing i must say though, the ongoing improvement in the graphics and look of the game is fantastic! I love the new smoke effects rising our of the buildings.

Well, maybe someday in the future, WG will add better support for players on weaker computers (no offense though)

It's about time don't you guys think?

OH, When are HD graphics coming BTW? I need more beautiful trees!

Wasabi is hand down the best mod 10/10/10/11. Without him I would have to look at words and images : (

and players with weaker internet connections. I seem to get an awful lot of players whose names stay grey for the entire battle, or take 3-5 mins to connect, (indicating they have not loaded into the battle yet).

Isn't that the whole reason why SEA players are not allowed a "connect automatically" check box at our log in screens?. Because WG SEA acknowledges that many SEA players are connecting from internet cafes or public computers?.

Kind of frustrating playing solo in pubs when that all vital tier 10 TD never connects into the game, and we lose by one tank, like yesterday. I really enjoy manually typing my entire email and password every time I connect.

No, I don't run a single mod in my game. I'm Stock.
