So is it possible to allow recruiters to reply to looking for a clan threads? Seems silly to have designated recruiters but then hamper their ability to actually recruit. I wanted to ask a recent poster about their hours of availability which they had neglected to include in their post. I could PM of course but often things like that would be useful for everyone to know.

ATM COAF can post.
Clans can have 2 COAF reps.

It is up to your clan to use those two spots as they see fit.

Yes, non COAF can use the PM features.

My inbox is full and deleting PMs is something extra errand for me..

I hope Dan's suggestion will be considered..

COAF is more on diplomacy and high level functions, so putting the recruitment in the hands of our reps isn't easy..

Aye.
Thus why COAF have a much larger PM box.

The options are limited.
1. We can't manually add recruiters to a new & special user group, so they have access to reply to the section. Its not practical.

2. The section was open to all to reply originally, But that results in clans using it as a insult the clan-less player elitist environment and insult other clans, instead of a place for players to look for a clan.

So it is what it is ATM.

COAF reps can reply, non COAF can use PM's.
Or there is the recruiting station.. http://worldoftanks....tation/account/

Tan.

Can't even reply to the replies in your own looking for clan thread lol.

Things have certainly changed, can I ask what the issue was that resulted in locking down those threads?

Yes, the OP cant reply to the thread, as only COAF can reply.

But the OP can edit their OP, or use the PM system, or the recruiting system on the portal.

To answer your question, it was point 2 above in my previous reply.
The section was very toxic.

Players being able to join a clan happily, is the main point, and important topic.

Threads mostly were like the following.

New player. "I want to join a clan"
Elitist clan "your stats xxxxxxxxx, go join this clan instead they all XXXX too"
Other clan "We aren't bad, your clan is bad"
Etc...............
On for 20 pages. where no-one is there to recruit the player into the clan, everyone is just there to argue with each other.

Now the section is back to players being able to look for a clan.

This wasn't the situation before.

Yes everyone can't reply to the player looking for a clan, that is intentional.

Tan.

Been away from this server a while, don't recall it being that bad back when I was active here, but hardly surprised to learn that it got that bad lol.

What if all of us recruiters from different clans, a few hundreds will submit a petition, will WG consider it?  Recruitment-related sections belong to recruiters. For the meantime, we're using the available means to get players who are looking for clans albeit the little inconvenience in our part.

Imho, if they actually followed the scaffold, we would have no problems...
