looks good, but i wonder how it hurts my fps. I guess even with my minimum settings, it'll be bad.

:wub:Boy  I  can  see why  wargaming  inc  is  concentrating  on  the  BIG  picture. Must  be a  lot  of  players  spending a  lot  of  gold ingame. I will  just  make  sure  I  have  the  insane  high  end  graphics  cards  to  run  all  this in  my  latest intel 4770K rig.

So, when will we have 30vs30 battle???

I mean visual and game play improvements are good, but still...

How about they fix the current problems first before introducing new ones, lag and latency are effecting too many people, and in this type of game any lag makes the game very difficult as the lagged player has the shoot first, spot first advantage.. Gun dispersion buff previously means few people miss these days ..

Changes look great however, just as it was said in video 'you want players to have the least amount of technical problems' focus on them first.

They should re-balance tier 10 for a start, broken meta is absurdly broken.

Outrage is too exhausting to maintain for years on end. Numpty fatigue has set in.

The rage of 2013/2014 has sullenly ceded ground to apathy and despair, there is no viable alternative.

Absolutely.

Absurd alpha is prevalent in a few tiers, and tbh view ranges and 'class definition' needs to be looked at from T7 upwards.

I am oping that they provide multi core support so we can actually use these graphics...

They have different teams working on different stuff. You really don't want the MM coding guys working on graphics.

If they do it right and optimise the engine at the same time, FPS should remain the same or get better for most people. That's a big IF though. There are plenty of games on par or better than WGs new graphics settings (including Havok) that generally run much better in terms of framerate.

^That, capitalism, ho!

Apparently competition is good for us customers. :harp:

@Gameplay/mm/etc:

What Otto wrote, different sections work on different parts of the game.

And WoT needs the graphic update badly... it also needs the gameplay updates badly, but that is also coming in 0.9.0 with the historical battles.

Well... time will show how HB will be.

Playing without Mods would be boring.

Textures don't affect much in terms of FPS, so no problem for me

How does multicore support play into graphics? The GPU does all the graphical lifting.

Although it does get me wondering, what on earth is sucking up the CPU in WoT?

Not just textures, they are bumping up the poly count on the models too.
