[LAMP] is Wargaming OFFICIALLY approved as containing Authorized/Legal Mods.

Why would you want LAMP over other mod packs?

LAMP is ALL MODnot all Mod's  It is designed to be how the game itself should be designed.  The most "functional, practical, and readable".

Designed with care for quality and performance.  If you like Quality over Quantity, then this pack is for you.  FAR LESS errors & problems than other packs.

Lee's Sight Collection..... Working 0.9.3
.

Quote

- 14 of the Best Game sights for Arcade, Sniper, & Arty
- Gun Constraint options
- Scope Shadow options
- Required files for sights to work (if don't have already from other installed mods or mod packs)
- Optional Zoom IN/OUT & Server-Side Reticle files (for those who want those features or don't have already)
- Server-Side Reticle image collection

Note, I update necessary files every game update, which generally will allow the sites to work.  However, I don't test every sight every update.

If there are any issues with any specific sight, let me know.

WARNING:  Remember to REMOVE all files for a previous sight installed, will generally cause issues.  (just see the sight files in my pack to know what files in it, and need to be removed for example)

NOTE TO MODERATORS.....  How come the "Full Editor" doesn't allow editing of the thread Title?

Is there a forum posting # requirement or something?

No, the feature is just not there, lee. That is why I didn't know I can change the title on my "Ruinberg On Fire Garage" thread on the NA server (and was asking a Moderator to do it), I've been used to not being able to change thread titles here on the ASIA server. Moderator's gonna do it for you here in ASIA.

- Removed the old style chat scroll so the Spam filter would work again.

Okay there was an "update" to the game that fixed the FOV issue.....

Go into the World_of_Tanks\res_mods\0.8.11\gui\ "avatar" files and at the top delete this highlighted code.  The game will look as normal then.

Of course, you don't "have" to do this.....  optional.

The ASIA server will not be pushing the update until after 6 hours from my time of posting.

Though deleting the FOV script is optional, I will delete it anyway. Thanks for the info, lee. :great:

UPDATE.... 0.8.11.v6 - 3/3/2014

Bug fix version....

Sorry guys, accidentally left a sound mod's files in my pack and that caused missing gun sounds.

http://www.mediafire.com/download/g4ajn8s5jrgdm5w/Lees_ALL_MODS_Pack_0.8.11.v6.zip

To fix the problem without redownloading go into res_mods\0.8.11\scripts\item_defs\ and delete the vehicles folder.

Then take the v4 vehicles folder and put it in there instead.

BUG FIX 7.1......for .v7

Sorry guys, accidentally introduced an alignment bug in v7 in the players panel.  If you can live with it, don't worry about it. Or...

This file fixes it so you don't have to redownload.  All downloads from now the main pack has been updated with the fix.

For those who might be missing the "Lucida Sans" fonts.... specifically the usernames on the playersPanel show as boxes.

Next upload will have them included.

UPDATE..... 0.8.11.v8.

- Removed Enemy Reload Indicator.

- Removed Enemy Gun Direction indicator.

- Added some fonts some users didn't have.

- Removed some pyc files from the alt Taipan sight option, using different sight scripts.

This pack should now be entirely legal.  Most other things Wargaming has allowed forever and shouldn't be banned (let's hope).

It's sad I had to loss the reload indicator because I was a really "perrrrty" addition.

The enemy gun direction isn't actually banned currently, but they will ban it for sure, so removed it.

Sadly, those of us who actually use the above mods, know very well that they didn't actually give any sort of "unfair" advantage, because we have other means to accomplish the same and our skills are what makes us good, not those dumb little things.  Sight and zoom in mods are far more "advantagous" then these mods were, yet most who complain wouldn't think so, showing their hypocricy and ignorance.

Anyway, let's hope they don't mess things up even more.

P.S.....  I've confirmed that Wargaming IS able to scan for illegal mods.  They don't however unless there are "reports".  So, highly recommend people NOT to use banned mods.

InfoPanelEnglish(masheene)

And I've simply customized it a little, positioning, color.

It's just the normal info panel.  It's the two infopanel files in the scaleform folder.

You can find it here: http://forum.worldoftanks.eu/index.php?/topic/263260-0811-infopanel/

Thanks mate. You have a bad*ss pack, most everything I am looking for. The sights, the gun reload progress is very clear to indicate that it's reloaded and can fire at the enemy critters again. Also ATAC, it's the first time I used it and is very helpful, I frequently forget to look at the minimap when following other enemy tanks on the sniper scope. The infopanel is cool, particularly the ramming chance. Who is able to memorize the tonnage of each tank anyway?

Thanks much appreciated.....  Yes, I designed this pack for clarity and usefulness because I couldn't get it from others (respects to their work however).

BTW, you said "most everything" you're looking for?  Do you have any suggestions?  Always looking to improve it.

What I am missing is no biggy really. Some time back I was using Shooter's damage panel with bounce indication, haven't found a working 8.11 version so far, have not tried hard looking. Yet. I just like seeing the pesky PzIC bouncing off me.

BTW, I encountered a prob on the hitlog, the blown up marker shows a 'mailbox' instead of a 'bomb'. I debugged it on Ded_Shalfey's hitlog.xc. The wingdings text was a comma (,) which represeneted a mailbox, changing it to an 'M' solved the problem, now it shows a 'bomb'. I did install the wingdings.ttf you have included in the pack. Could there be different versions of wingdings.ttf across the regions ?

Ya....  bounce indication is one thing I would like in the damage panel.....  I would like to use shooters, because it has both bounce indication and the nice angle indicator.

But sadly it doesn't have the "quick repair panel" through the CTRL key....  which is most important to me.   I'm still hoping to find or be able to edit one to do the features I want.

Don't know if Zaya's will ever get to adding those things to his....

hmmmm.....  I don't get a "mailbox".  It's possible things could be different region wise.  I will look into that further.  Thanks for the report.
