Wargaming, in cooperation with the Kubinka Tank Museum, intends to reconstruct the legendary Panzerkampfwagen VIII "Maus", with most of its parts currently missing or destroyed. They will be reconstructed at factories around the world with custom-manufactured parts in close cooperation with the most experienced military vehicle restorers.

Can't wait for it. They should do some demonstrations with it and show it shooting or crushing some cars, or maybe smaller tanks

This. Is. Epic.

Hope you guys keep us up to date, the Maus is an important piece of tank history, even if its just as a warning about letting heavy tanks get out of control.

Good luck with Putin allowing anyone but Russians to see it in Kubinka with today's political climate.

Should be returned to Germany and shown instead in the Deutsches Panzermuseum.

No longer playing World of Tanks.

So its seems as though they actually intend it to move. I wonder what sort of engine they'll install? Reckon there is room for two modern tank power packs, 2400-3000hp would be pretty sweet.

There is some suggestion that they are going to go as historic as they can. That is of course provided they can get blueprints and other research materials.

For some reason I seem to recall the original planned engine was some massive aircraft engine.
