Get 1,000 free gold and free game-time when your friend registers as a new player in Singapore's Command Centre! There's no cap, either - 5 friends registering will net you 5,000 gold. Read more about this new program here!

So is this only going to be for Singapore only or will others countries get and if so when?

Wow that's cool. I wonder if WG has this planned for Malaysia in the near future?

The requirements seem rather onerous for geeks like me:

Quote

First, you'll need one (1) friend.

More seriously, it would be really interesting to run something like this where good players could team up with not-so-good players to improve their skills, and both would get a gold reward for this. The devil's in the details, of course.

All pre-9.5 tier I through VI tanks played and elited.

To be honest I'm surprised there isn't some automated system for this just in the game already. Referral links for registration kind of thing.

Guess they are worried that the "friends" will just be bot accounts.

1st thought WOT WG debit card referral program.

Not attractive as free play to orchard area not convenient for every1. Maybe Free gold at least 1k gold referred for per new player,

Then my company peers wil go for registration and at least 10K gold for me.

Not only will we get more players, we will be getting more players with mentors. Not bad.

Rather than having to figure out for themselves how to camp on spawn with a top-tier heavy, they'll have someone to show them to do it!

I don't think they are allowed to. Kongzhong might do something for the Chinese server.

It's an on ground event. Such events work well in a country that's 1km x 1km

Don't worry there is many regional referral systems coming out later.

More info later, when they are closer to release and developed.

Regards
Tan.

Its probably because at the WOT centre the majority of players do no play WOT, about 2% play WOT  most play DOTA and other games.

Another issue is sound unless, you are a member its hard to hear, as no one uses the headphones and most use the speakers counter strike is really loud.

Also only 2 PCs have a microphone so talking to clan mates on teamspeak becomes an issue, but its better to become a member as you get to use the rooms behind the glass.

So it would be good to have more people playing WOT there.
