It can be a chore looking for World of Tanks wallpapers that fit seamlessly into 2-monitor rigs so we're calling out to our artistic community members to make this task a bit easier!

 

Mechanics:

1. Create extra-large World of Tanks wallpapers in the following size ONLY:
   • 2 Monitor size  - 3840 width x1080 height
   • Theme: Clan Wars: World on Fire
2. All submissions must be in JPG format and posted in their respective submission threads in the forums.
3. Deadline of entry submission is on 30 May 2014 at 14:00 (UTC+8).

 

Prizes:

• First place: 5,000 gold
• Second place: 3,000 gold
• Third place: 2,000 gold

 

Notes:

• Use of any copyrighted images for submissions is strictly prohibited however, you may incorporate World of Tanks screenshots, artwork, and logos into your submissions.
• Submissions that are in violation of the forum rules will be automatically disqualified.
• Players may participate in both the 2-Monitor and 3-Monitor Contests but may only submit one entry for each thread.

Sorry, but the image is showing up as 1024x288.

Thought I'd make something up after looking at the clan wars map day one after redivision. Going to be getting used to this icon me thinks. Although for some reason, everything seems to be downscaling the images. Link to the original.

You can add a link leading to the correct-scale image just in case.

Just waiting for a full size version to upload to my dropbox and I'll post a share link since Google seems intent on downscaling my larger images.  It made designing clan logos in Hi res before reduction for interface scale very annoying.

Theme: Clan Wars: World On Fire

Requirement: 3840x1080 JPG file

 

Concept:

7-player clans on each side in battle stance facing the opposing enemy team. The background consists of a deep red substrate (to represent the "World on FIRE" theme) overlaid with two Prokhorovka maps. A global map was again overlaid over the maps, again to represent the theme of "WORLD On Fire". WG and WOT logos on the top with the event title just below spanning both monitors, together with the medals that can be achieved in the event. Vehicles were carefully positioned not to span/cross the bevels of the monitors to avoid the undesirable effect of vertical tearing.

In the spoiler is a mock-up showing how the wallpaper would appear on two monitors.
