It can be a chore looking for World of Tanks wallpapers that fit seamlessly into 3-monitor rigs so we're calling out to our artistic community members to make this task a bit easier!

Mechanics:

  1. Create extra-large World of Tanks wallpapers in the following size ONLY:
    • 3 Monitor size - 5760 width x1080 height
    • Theme: Update 9.0
  2. All submissions must be in JPG format and posted in their respective submission threads on the forums.
  3. Deadline of entry submission is on 30 May 2014 at 14:00 (UTC+8).

Prizes:

  • First place: 5,000 gold
  • Second place: 3,000 gold
  • Third place: 2,000 gold

Notes:

  • Use of any copyrighted images for submissions is strictly prohibited however, you may incorporate World of Tanks screenshots, artwork, and logos into your submissions.
  • Submissions that are in violation of the forum rules will be automatically disqualified.
  • Players may participate in both the 2-Monitor and 3-Monitor Contests but may only submit one entry for each thread.

I keep getting an error upon viewing the 2-monitor forum thread link. I need to ask, can 1 person win the prize on both format? Also, are we making desktop wallpaper or the login screen wallpaper (in which we need to consider the login input and WoT logo in the middle. Just making sure, bcs it's quite a big task, literally :P

I'm not getting any issues loading the 2-monitor thread. You can try using CTRL+F5 to load the full page directly from the server

This competition is for desktop wallpapers and yes, it is possible to for both formats.

Screenshots = still images of in-game footage. Use the Print Screen button to take a screenshot and it will be automatically be saved in your WoT's screenshot folder.

Can we use World of Tanks resources and incorporate it to our designs? Like WG made wallpapers and crop them and incorporate them to our works?

Those are the correct dimensions. If the page isn't allowing you to post the actual image, a link to an online version of your entry will do.

Hi, these are large photos.

So a lot of photo storage sites will auto resize them down, or there is a tick box to auto resize it down.
So it may be large when you upload it, but small after its uploaded.

Try imgur.com if tinypic.com wont let you keep the large photo.
