Yeah, pretty disappointing that there hasn't been a discount on this in quite a while, and now they seem to have stopped discounting anything at all in the weekly specials so who knows when we'll next get one. Oh well, guess my WT-E100 crew will have to keep their nigh on useless 100% camo skills indefinitely.

I ditched mine at 90% such was the worthlessness of it all.

Tank Company focus huh?

 

It has been long since I played that mode. Not many people playing that mode anyway.

Its one thing to gather a team to compete in Tank Company but its another thing to actually get to battle in a Tank Company.

There isn't a lot of people playing Tank Company.

 

Simply giving bonuses for winning and doing well in Tank Company isn't going to help that mode much since its main problem is that not many people play TC and even then the wait is long.

 

My $0.02.

 

At least I can enjoy the 2x exp. The grind in the Emil is long.

Oddly enough, i suspect sprem for CR probably contributed. To be competitive you need to fire gold. Firing pure gold is expensive. Back in the day (pre CR sprem) you could get away with shooting normal rounds and hence companies as a whole were fairly affordable.

The event awards being in the top 5 for damage or scouting. This doesn't make a lot of sense since in a Tank Company battle (or a CW battle, for that matter) it's frequent that properly contributing individuals will not make it in to the top 5 for either, and deliberately trying to get yourself in to the top 5 is more often than not an anti-teamwork move.

TCs - mostly seem to run after about 22:00 (UTC+10) which will exclude quite a few people.

They ran it every weekend for a month (when i didn't need it) making it fairly pointless, then swapped to running a crew retraining for a few weekends - make that fairly pointless (unless you are botting/power grinding), and are now going with neither.

It's good to have x5 once in a while, but x2 for all victories for a whole month is excessive.

Yes there was a crew (re)training discount to train then, but there hasn't been a skills/perks drop discount for quite a lot longer.
