Oh well. Even if I don't win, it's good for personal practice.
This AMX 13 90 design is so that we see the radio as a headpiece, the armor as chestplate, the visor is the optics (coated optics is shown here), the belt is the turret ring and the ammo rack, and the roller skates denote it as a fast tank. The gauntlets represent the gun, where the size denote the caliber of gun (here is 90mm) and the revolver barrel denote the drum feeder type of the tank. At the back is the fuel tanks. Lots of French symbols (like the Fleur-de-lis and the French tank symbol) are placed around the character.
This design is meant to be modular; as stated earlier, the gauntlet sizes are based on gun caliber. Extra equipment like spall lining would be shown as extra chestplate piece, optics like coated (as shown) or binoculars would be shown visually on the character. However, I still haven't figured out how to show ammo types.
This is a character that I have drawn on inspiration from the tank AMX 1390. From the features of the above-mentioned tank, the character is formed with the following aspects:
- The tank is originated from France, the shape of the character based on the image of a soldier in Napoleon's army.
- The mobility of the AMX 1390 as a reconnaissance vehicle with very fast movement speed, like the ancient scouts used to ride horses. Therefore, I combined two images to create a horseman character in the legend. Upper body is the French reconnaissance soldier, the lower half is horse ‘s body part.
-The gun that character holding is carbine, originating from the French Army from 1793
I made one character that is different from AMX characters created by other gamers. I built one character bringing ancient propensity based on images of modern tanks. The arena is not only for men but also for women. But the above-mentioned female character has stature, fascination, strength of a soldier who is always ready for battle.
Thanks for voting.
It might be better without those ears , I nearly thought I saw Buddha .
FML. I'm busting my ass off since i seem to enjoy punishing myself for having not one but three character models. hopefully it'll be good.
Lol! I, on the other hand made several drawings of the same model to show different angles and details and stuff. I just had too much spare time, making me think whether or not it's a good thing DX
Fret not, however. Having different models is a good thing, since being able to produce a variety of solutions to the same problem is a sign of one's imagination and creativity ^^
Based on my noobish (and sometimes YOLO suicide rush) play style, especially when my tanks are being matched against higher tier tanks.
This little girl is not aware of the duties of Tank Girls and dangers of World of Tanks. Something that other more pro, experienced Tank Girls having hard time trying to get her to understand.
It's all fun and games for her. Get in a match, spot some tanks, shoot or get shot, back to garage, get ready for next match.
She has much to learn.
And no, Tanks Girls don't die.
I don't know what I'm saying any more. I like drawing characters but bad at giving names and background story...
CheerZ!
Btw, regardign to this:
All entries submitted for the contest automatically becomes the property of Wargaming Asia.
Can I still post this to my deviantart page?
Spoiler
Maybe we can make a browser card game call Panzer Collection. LOL
Finally done, could've done one more but i'm officially in need of a break.
SPOILER ALERT!!!
I was heavily influenced and inspired by the recent kick-ass sci-fi action film Edge of Tomorrow (aka All You Need Is KILL) so yeah...
And i'm terrible at story telling so bear with me since i haven't had enough sleep recently, and it should make sense...
Anywho, here's my entry:

With the increasing widespread use of exosuits in warfare, the French Ministry of Defence reformed and updated it's armed forces and also produced . GIAT Intelligence was formed within the Army(following the model of the United States Army Intelligence Support Activity), tasked with collecting actionable intelligence for missions and providing operational preparation of the battlefield.
During the reformation and expansion of the French Armed Forces, the 13th Airborne Division was formed as an elite airborne special operations unit specialising in airborne and intelligence operations as well as direct action and unconventional warfare. Within the 13th AB are several specialised units, among these is a unit known as the AMX-13 90.
Airborne Mechanised Exosuits, 13th Airborne Division, Unit 90
Members of the elite 13th Airborne Division are renown throughout the French armed forces as being among the toughest and boldest units, employed on the most difficult missions and often given priority in the latest technology and developments in exosuit tech to aid on their missions. But among the many units within the AMX-13, Unit 90 is known as the elite of the elite. Members of Unit 90 are mostly handpicked from within the other AMX recon units , such as the ELC (Enhanced Light Combat) Unit ,Unit 12(t) and Unit 75.
Members of Unit 90 are already highly experienced veterans of many battles and operations, with specialisations in airborne operations, covert ops, direct action, HVT protection/security/assassination, intelligence operations, mobility operations and unconventional warfare. Their principal role on the battlefield is to support the main conventional units, providing invaluable intelligence, reconnaissance, indirect fire coordination and to counter the opposition's scout/recon units.
While the mission of Unit 90 is similar to the other scout units, but they are mostly employed and called upon on higher tier level missions, when the stakes are higher, the threat is deadlier but, as often stated by members of Unit 90, the rewards are greater.
Unit 90 got it's name similarly to other AMX units from the latest scout exosuit model developed by the French Army alongside GIAT Intelligence, AMX model-caliber 90. The AMX 90 suit was developed as a response to a need for a better exosuit capable of meeting the requirements needed for higher risk deployments. This included better power-to-weight ratio for the operator to maintain and sustain its mobility while using heavier weaponry such as anti-material rifles. Members of Unit 90 did not complain of the lack of additional protection, preferring to be able to stay mobile and on alert and respond to threats on the battlefield quicker.
The AMX model-caliber 90 suit includes many features, such as:
-lightened exoframe armour, providing adequate protection where crucially needed without impeding operator mobility and movement
-enhanced leg and arm exoframe, giving a boost to the operator's agility and strength and providing perfect responsiveness to movement
-modified helmet featuring night-vision/thermal/telescopic optics, updated and classified modifications to HUD and communications
-experimental 'Boomerang' system mounted on top right of helmet providing 360 situational awareness to user in response to oncoming fire and other battlefield conditions
-remote or wire connection to certain weapon systems to allow aiming and firing even without LoS
Unit 90 is often compared to other nations' elite special operations units such as the US 1st SFOD-C (Chaffee), Detachment 21 and 71, UK 24 SAS Regiment (Crusader), Germany's Aufklärungsjäger Leopard and Panther squad, Russia's Troop 50 and Mechanised Troop 25, and China's 62nd Recon Battalion. This claim is constantly dismissed by members within Unit 90.
Some explanation and short background story about her:
Spoiler
Sergeant Rosette Stirling
Age: 25
Hair: Red
Height: 172 cm
Weight: 58 kg
Born to a French mother and British father, Rose felt a closer affinity to France due to spending most of her childhood in France. A highly gifted athlete and academic, she volunteered and joined the French Army after completing her university studies. Showing immense skill and potential, she was recruited to the 13th Airborne and whilst serving in Unit 75, she showed her capabilities and aptitude during the '87 Crisis, when her unit joined a coalition to successfully put down the rogue Troop 50-2 battalion. She was selected to be among the first women into Unit 90. She quickly made a reputation for herself, earning the nickname "Valkyrie of Verdun" and is respected and feared by friend and foe respectively.
(Her clothing is based on French tank crews during the early stage of World War 2, who wore yellow scarves along with their uniform)
[And yes, that was inspired by someone else]

For a more aggressive close-combat role, dual high-caliber revolvers!
I drawed AMX 13 90 as a girl athlete in school. I emphasized the character of the tank as a runner and the weakness of armour was the main concept to persona 1390 as a girl character.
Anyway I tried to expose AMX as a girl not a mekamusume. thx
