I feel that the widespread use of premium ammunition from tier 1 to tier 10, is ruining any chnce of new players being able to learn proper play.

limiting prem ammo to tier 6 and above, would most likely result in players with a better understanding of penetration points and weak spots on tanks..

The way its is now, players can fill ammo racks with prem ammo, go onto battle using "auto aim" and never learn how to penetrate anything, simply because prem ammo will do it for them..

I am intersted in anyone's opinion... mine has been stated quite clearly

Shooting prem rounds doesnt mean you dont have to aim weakspots, you just now can pen them more reliably.. Idiots are still idiots, its not like prem rounds are auto-pen

Actually u wrong about autoaiming with premium round will ensure penetration. Even with premium round u still need to aim at weak spots. I usually use premium rounds when the tank I'm against has a thicker armor then the penetration of my standard rounds.

Just my 2 cents.

in a tier 1  to 5 battle.. prem ammo will pen almost anything, anywhere..leaving players with a false sense of success.

but i do respect the sense made..

as was said..........." idiots will be idiots"

In a tier 1 - 5 battle, I would be surprised if players even purchased premium rounds.

Well.. even an APCR shot from Matilda bounced off the front of M2 Medium, if that player just autoaims it...

Resurrected, and battle ready.

You know APCR and HEAT can still bounce off angles right? And tracks and spaced armor still eat HEAT? And that the new autoaim aims so low that you'll most likely hit the upper plate - which is usually tough place to pen? New kids will also not use gold rounds coz its flippin expensive. Hell, when I was a newb, I never used consumables till tier 7 - yep.. idiot.

Yes, they should limit the gold ammo. But what they should do is, limit the amount of gold rounds players can bring, like no more than 40% of capacity or something, even if it's just for random battles.

Most new players between Tier 1 and 5 can barely afford to buy new tanks, certainly can't afford to buy modules, most can't afford to buy crew training.  What makes you think that new players can afford to spam premium ammo when it costs from 400cr in Tier 1 up to 2800cr in Tier 5?

You would be surprised. A lot who are learning to play quickly learn that APCR will go through more often when other rounds don't and will waste lots of credits and/or gold on them. Likely +2 matchmaker and the general "must kill everything" attitude showing them the way.

Always said they should be limited to a certain amount of the loadout to make their use a bit more tactical and to tone down some of the tanks that get an enormous boost from them. Change the percentage per tank to use as another balancing parameter. eg T-54 HEAT is extremely good, so limit the amount it can carry quite a lot. E-100 with 150mm does poorly without them, so let it carry a few more than the T-54 can.

Might want to at least disguise the url - check the forum rules on what's allowed... and what's not.

Your proposal stinks, not because of various childish retorts, but because you fail to validate your points with either a compelling logic and/or data. You want someone to implement something, make its cause clear and compelling. That's a real life lesson for you kid.
