Warning!

This method of making World of Tanks game client compatible with MacOS is totally playermade and has no connection to Wargaming company.

We just recommend this modification as a quite popular and successful method. World of Tanks development team is not responsible for this files and our Customer Service do not supports them.

It’s highly recommended to check files on viruses before installation!

World of Tanks Development team thanks player Aleville for help during production of this guide.

Download files required for conversion.

To launch World of Tanks under MacOS it’s required to complete following steps

1. Extract files from DMG-virtuals on HD (hard drive) of device with MacOS installed.

2. Download and install the latest version of World of Tanks game client. Click on icon with the file for launching the game and select ‘Show packages contents’

Posted Image

3. Move to the game to carpet «drive_c -> Games» in pop-up window

Posted Image

The exact game address should be «drive_c -> Games -> World_Of_Tanks».

4. Just in case make sure that program for running the game under MacOS is linked to the correct file. Run «Wineskin» clicking on the icon of file for running the game and selecting ‘Show package contents’. Select ‘advanced’ menu

5. Here you can also change the address pressing «browse» button to make game, for example, launch without Launcher.

6. Run the game. Updates will be installed automatically, if required.

We are a single PC / Multi Mac house - I like to experiment and make things work. It's worth a crack if only to see if it works.

Link not working (I don't think stock wineskin will work). I recognize this wineskin wrapper as Bleed's from RU as I also use it. Search for it on:
Spoiler
But we may need an updated version for 8.0.

nice to hear that there is  WOT compatible for mac. but since its not connected to wargaming, makes it kinda suspicious and doubtful.

You cant really steal Unix.  It is effectively a semi restricted open source OS.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unix

Apple are well within their rights to use it any way they see fit.

ive been playing WOT for a month now, running on a macbook pro 13' i5 2.4 ghz, 4GB mem, intel HD (stock Vcard), installed on WIN 7 64bit via Bootcamp, theres nothing to expect here, the is game running smoothly as it should on low video settings, i only use this rig when at malls or airport using wi-fi, ive got 2 highend rigs 1 at the office 1 at home, if your going to install this for your macbook i suggest you to upgrade for an SSD.   ive install hitbox skins and sniper scope w/ plate armor, it works smoothly on this rig,

Go to paulthetall.com and gameports, simulator games then WoT. I play wot on my mac pro w/ retina display 15' inch 16 gig ram and 750gb of flash storage. Works at 50-60fps, 40ms ping (lag) and runs smooth! he also keeps up with the updates, there are new wrappers for each large update! no bootcamp, nothing like that, and it works awesome. there is also a vid tutorial, very useful!

I get a graphics bug with that one, bushes and decals disappear when I'm close, and tanks render without lighting...
