I must be loosing it, didn't even know about Fury before reading about it here, and much as I like Kelly's hero's it is good to read about the amount of detail & effort that is going into this one rather than body kiting & re-badging some t-34s, like remanufacturing a Ferrari using tech spec plans compared to chucking a fibreglass body kit on Datsun 180b running gear ( but considering that's what was done at the time is ok ), next movie to see in cinema rather than wait for dvd release, and then look forward to making of in extras when dvd does come out, thanks to the Chieftain for sharing his studio experience.

We too are all waiting for this movie. I agree that the level of detail looks to be outstanding. I am hoping that attention to realism is what will drive most producers and directors for more movies in this vein. The only problem is that if a movie were to show true military life, nobody wants to watch 90 minutes of a bunch of blokes sitting around bitching about being bored with 10 minutes of action.
Just a quick note on the weird vehicle you mentioned. It looks like an asphalt paving machine, nothing too exotic. But if it is involved in a Bond movie there may well be hidden machine guns and an ejector seat.
