I meant internal team banter rather than inter-clan banter.

Apart from our All UK line-up of course.  Contemplating purchasing a TOG.

LOL. My bad. That is one of the reasons I still play this game, the stuff that gets said in TS....

All UK line-up: That would be cool. But, having been CW'd by PBKAC in the past, I'd be more concerned about you lot running with 304s and Crommies as well.

We gave the blighters what for, while exercising our worst accents (or just speaking normally if youre Rumboy). It turns out the Togs were the true menace, used the croms as scouts and turned the DPM on a bunch of campers. It was terrific fun old chap, a great lark in the service of King and Country.

I got a little cocky and decided the KV-2 wasn't looking at me... until he was and then I couldn't get out of there quick enough.

Wow.

I think the only reasonable response is "Jolly good show, well done chaps".

I must say I'm enjoying seeing what clans do in preparation for the Great 1S Nerfing

There is always something to learn from.. even from a lost battle..

When you lost a battle and you cry instead of taking a lesson from it.. you get your biggest lost.

Be honest to yourself.. when we face "top clans" we know we have less chance to win it. BUT.. not a sure lose ( dont underestimate yourself and your team). make sure to take advantage of that battle by learning how they move and coordinate their attack. Don't stop the learning process.

Win is win.. lose is lose. When you win, try to see WHY they lose... and when they win, try to learn why you lose.

Try this.. when you lose a battle.. say this to yourself.. "they win.." dont say "we lose..".. this methods can reduce the pain and butthurt on a lost battle... it works for us..

and remember.. don't stop learning while you're having fun with the game..

Don't make "i'm playing for fun" as an excuse for being bad..

Don't let "i'm playing seriously" ruins your fun in a game..

and yes... we are losing many battles in stronghold... but.. we aren't whining.. we know they are better.. and we know we can be.. too...

we just dont know when... bwahahahaha...

Boom goes the dynamite!

Great points Santana!

There is always something to take away from a battle--win or lose. The key is maintaining perspective. If you are not learning then you are not getting the best out of this gaming experience.

I am finding strongholds to be a VERY interesting experience. At tier 6 it has the positive of being like a 'super toon'. For those of us who have focused on playing Tank Companies (TCM is well named... duh!) the smaller group means that there is nowhere to hide in the battle. Your strengths, weaknesses and teamwork are really highlighted and we have definitely improved as a result of this form of game play. We have also been forced to consider tanks that we would never play in a medium TC and that is definitely challenging our players and callers..... in a good way!

The only criticism I have is the use of the larger maps at tier 6. We have had a number of battles where it has just ended up being a run for the flag. With a group of 7, if you don't bump into the opposing push you just end up galloping across the map admiring the view. I think if the battles were restricted (for tier 6) to smaller maps the chances of this happening will be lower, which will improve the enjoyment level of the battles.
