If strongholds were in all tiers, some players would never pub again

Slightly off topic but given most of the folks in my clan laugh at me when i suggest TOG platoons would there be anyone here who would be happy to join the forces of TOG together for 3 man platoons.... The poor thing has never let me down (even when going solo although i did this only out of desperation last night with some of the terrible teams around) and can be a real stress reliever when joined together as a 3 headed amoeba of doom! (Preference also been for people who are not retarded or antisocial, as TOG is a tank which breeds somewhat cultivated and colourful discussions whilst gracefully oozing across the WOT landscape...)

I had a bloke who after asking to bring his TOG was repeatedly asked NOT to bring it. Well he brought it, so it upset our plan, but he still boasted how good it was........

well long story short, as soon as he was spotted, he lost 80% HP so we TK`d him for being an ass, after that we knocked out the red team and won. so yeah.... I don`t like TOG`s too lol. to fat, too slow IMO

They make great bait for encouraging people to shoot & give away their position though...

As Mad says, three together can decimate a tank double quick but solo they can be a liability as it generally leaves you a tank short if it can't keep up with the team.

As a real man, with balls of steel and brains smaller than said balls, I did the stock grind. It was actually kinda fun, mostly for the novelty of that "turret"

Worst tank in game.

Ok, not quite that bad, but it has to be one of the most uncomfortable TDs going, ranking up there with the SU-101. Slow, meh armor and crappy gun arc is not a combo I look for in a TD. Whats that you say, it gets the stock tortoise gun as its top option? Still not interested. Besides, any gun that features on a tier 6 and a tier 9 tank is going to have really awful soft stats in its tier 6 incarnation.

I remember back when gold-rounds-for-credits came out, one of the first things I did was get back the ARL's barn-turret and load gold on the DCA 30.

I was a blast.

Yesterday I watched a stream where guys were playing team battles with tier 6 tanks, winning about 80% of them. I guess OP should tell them all about invincible russian armor and view range mods.

Bump the vision and stay in support range until you know where to be.  Cover helps. lol.

I'm not awesome with the TOG, but usually better than pub gamers expect which can really help when they overreach.  Invite me for TOG plats!
