FTR stating it wont be implemented due to bugs??

"

- the punishment system for suiciders will be disabled for now. Wargaming did not manage to make it working correctly in cases such as this:"

" the player will be fined all income for the battle he left."

Fines don't apply to girls?

Or WG think only males play tanks?

Just looks a little sexist

Actually had an enemy tank blow himself up by mistake yesterday. He was derp toting Pz4 and he bounced two AP off my T-43 before he switched to HE, unfortunately for him I was up in his face by this time and the backblast killed him, was actually pretty funny but he didn't deserve a fine. Glad to see its a graduated thing WG. Certainly a step in the right direction.

nice to see but i think something also needs to be done about the amount of flaming in game that is happening, even in games that should really be for noobies the amount of verbal abuse is extreme, ok its that sort of game in a sense but its getting pretty extreme now days,

I'd have to say atleast as bad as league of legends, guaranteed every 2nd game, and realistically it does make the game less enjoyable.

Admittedly i myself am not entirely guilt free i'd say very few people are, plenty of people will turn around and give everything given to them back and ultimately if they are still alive, die during the verbal exchange "always happens", but i reckon it needs to be toned down a bit.

Another thing alot of players will look at xvm and if a teams win rate is bad will actually run up to the enemy team and die, personally hate that, an honestly, win rate is heavily based on sheer luck, you could be the best player in the world and still lose quite easily for a number of games in a row, nature of the game gotta relax and not get so strung up on win rates. Anyway for now the only real answer is the ignore button, ahhh muted bliss.

Not sure if the system can call suiciding if.....

- I jump on enemy tank then I died but killed him later on.

- I lucky aim & killed the low health enemy while sliding down the cliff but crashed in the process due to low health.

1. Will count as a ramming kill for your opponent.

2. You still killed yourself. Suicidally stupid is a thing.

But yeah, by the sounds of things it may not happen just yet anyway.

IMHO, there are some flaws on the rule of leaving the battle. Will it still be considered "unsport" when your tank is already destroyed and decided to go back to garage? I think this should be an exception for reasons that:

  1. You are already useless in the battle. Most players don't even listen if you try to coach them. Some are arrogant and will tell you to shut up. You don't control their tanks.
  2. Waste of time. To grind for more exp and currency, some players, when destroyed, go back to garage, get on another tank and take it to another battle.

all sounds good on paper , but will wait & see how the penalties get enforcement, plenty of times when lag leaves me @ loading screen for up to first third of battle, & also plenty of times when I've been rubber banded across screen usually over a cliff or into a river, but if people get penalised as inactive &/or suicides for that sort of sh1 happening to them, then it is only double penalising the innocent

@Mechanized_Soldier_2 - It only cares if you leave the battle while you are still alive.

@rockape79 - As potentially harsh as it sounds, get a better internet connection / computer. If you are unable to actually play and you know it due to technical issues, why are you trying? Should your team suffer because of you?

So that's the image we're using for the "desertion" notice? I thought we're using the meme-worthy grumpy old commissar face as seen on FTR.

I want Conan's face for the "desertion" notice!

After having my tank being put into another +2 tier game for the fifth time in a row, I can understand why players just give up and leave the game early.

They would rather have a no gain game and go play another battle that is a better match up. Remember, people want to have fun playing, not constantly get thrown into games where they struggle to have any effect.

Where are the new maps designed for all tank classes?

how about the tank that slip at the steep river/lake bank?

some maps have steep river bank and sometime some tanks trapped at there. they couldn't move and drown.

i think WG must change those map.

^those are some of the most hilarious moments I have seen, they should not be warned for suicide as they bring such join to all those that see the replays of them.

Self-destruction shouldn't count as unsporty.

Having a noob team all storm front & suicide at starting games what you think? Is it fair for SPG if all like to go die without putting a real fight?? Also its WG's fault for nerfing SPGs which all the time ticks wasted on the reload. So STOP satisfying the SPG haters & give it back what you taken!!

Wouldn't that cause more desertion ? After all he is the most handsome of all staff and community contributors combined - Everyone wants to see his face. Some even want to kiss his face.

It did & you missed it.

I have a couple of questions, will everyone be guilty & have to prove themselves innocent with replays to have a warning dropped..............?

For example, a Tank sliding down an embankment & drowning, see it happen everyday, has even happened to myself, how does the WG systems know accidental suicide to intentional?

Before capture, one is trained to destroy their equipment to stop it falling into the hands of the enemy, when loss is imminent, how can you penalise someone for destroying their own Tank?

I dont condone it, never done it myself & never will but I do understand it.

How does the WG systems know an ISP dropout from a Legitimate AFK? Quite a few times my ISP has dropped out & I have returned to see "Report our such & such He's afk" etc etc

Again, is everyone guilty & have to prove their innocent?

The only way to police it is to have admin playing so they can make an ingame assessment otherwise this will create huge headaches for all the players concerned.
