Hello players who are on PLDT ISP.

I have been informed that there were some changes to the routing (oooh, major development) of PLDT.

I would like our players, if you can, to monitor your connection via PLDT to WoT Asia server over the next few days.

Please let us know if it got better, worse, or stayed the same. (Note, Digitel rides on PLDT and can be included in responses here)

Again, Step 1) Monitor Connection, Step 2) State any changes here.

This thread will be for data gathering and not discussions.  Let's leave the ISP discussions on the other threads that are already present in the Philippine sub-forum.

Thank you players. Roll Out.

You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain. Guess which one I am.

Am pleased to report that ping has gone down to a stable 72 ms here. Keeping my fingers, eyes, and legs crossed for it to stay that way.

I've read some positive feedbacks from pinoy players from the WoT PH FB page. i don't know if you're a member of it but here's the link anyways https://www.facebook.com/groups/WorldOfTanksPH/ . if i remember correctly, some said na "himala, mababa ping ko sa PLDC!" and "sana forever na ganto PLDC, este PLDT" , "ano to?baka may limited promo PLDT ngayon: Low ping for 2hrs,nyahaha" one member even commented: "baka nakonsensya na yung PLDT, ang mahal mahal ng subscription sa kanila tapos ang hina naman ng net"

Translation: duh PH based community.

Edit:

Since the posts i've mentioned were buried down on the group page activities, i took the liberty of searching them and post the SS here. For the purpose of improving one of the PH's Internet Service Provider and the WoT gameplay experience.

This was mine a few minutes ago. Is the undersea cable still cut? I read somewhere that 20 more days of internet slowdown.

I am nothing if not inconsistent!

Thanks Pintados.

czarabad, I am under the impression that the cable is yet to be repaired.

Ah thanks Conan. That was my impression too from what I've read. They have to coordinate with a lot of telecom companies to synchronize the work on the cable.

I am nothing if not inconsistent!

I'm using Globelines though... Ping is less than 100ms but the ping indicator keeps blinking like its Christmas everyday. Been having this issue for a year now. Yes. A YEAR NOW.
