If you're lucky enough to get a few clan mates into the one room, then yeah, you could take it down.  That being said, I suspect that is unlikely and you need to do it a few times to get the 1K gold.  I suspect that they won't be handing out too much gold since these events are normally so full that you can't get in to them easily.

Depending on teamwork, there are plenty of fast tier 5 lights that can take down a tier 10 medium especially 15 on 1. Best side armour is only 80mm and 2,050 HP. You only need to hit 9 times with an ELC to kill that, 15 ELCs should be able to manage it.

True dat! But this would not be the best tactic as you are going to lose about half the team to achieve that result. Given the rewards are for staying alive I would not want to be the sacrificial lamb for the rest of the team.

To kill a ghost tank you will probably need HWAGT (Holy Water Anti-Ghost-Tank) shells anyway.

i think the point is to stay alive for 10 mins not necessarily destroy the ghost tank

so just hiding in a lol tractor could potentially win

+1 for memories

Anyway, how much rooms will be held? Will the 'official' accounts be moderators, GMs, trainee moderators, CoAF members etc? I don't want to spend 20 minutes to find 1 game that lasts 10 minutes - assuming I survive...

There should be at least 25 rooms open for the event so there should be rooms enough for everyone to join. As for the drivers, you've pretty much covered everyone who could be behind the ghost tanks. :hiding:

but what about us Australian huh? Some of us don't get back until 4 PM! we'll miss out on everything!

Not sure which part of Australia you're at, but the event should start at about 20:30 or 21:00 at the latest. :amazed:

may i know wat is that Tier X ghost tank?

that should be a special tank with 1 hit ko ability,

10 minutes to hunt down 15 tanks, average speed maybe? it will be too slow if is HT...

The Tier X ghost tank will vary depending on the driver so you're not up against just a single tank.

should be a heap of tier 5s that should do well in this elc not withstanding. preference would be 15 luchsleopards with the 30mm autocannon! can you imagine the spam hitting the poor leo or batchat! you would have a hard time aiming with all the hits richochets and tracer fire going everywhere!, no to mention the autocannon can pen all the sides and rear of both and probably the fronts too!

Some will cut and run, some will stand and fight. How you handle the coming doom is up to you, the only objective is to stay alive. Ah, ah, ah, ah, stayin' alive, stayin' alive....

I can imagine some unlucky noobs rocking up in their KV1's hoping for a brawl, but I think the majority of players will go for ELC's , which I think WG will anticipate and thus probably use a fast Tier 10 medium like a T62,Batchat,  object 140 or Leopard to catch and destroy us.

In that case running around may not help, perhaps getting a TD with decent stationary camo will work better?  T67? It has speed and better stationary camo? But I'll go ELC just to be safe

Maybe this reveals that the developers can have an invisible mode? Or there is a tank that has no texture so you can never see it?

Hmmmmmmmmmm

developers can develop whatever they want into a game.

whatever happens you have 3 hours to get "randomly picked" for a side of 15 players 4x over.

each battle is 10 minutes and you need to survive the full 10 mins.

that's 40 mins total, leaving you 140 minutes to be "randomly picked" for the team of 15.

I wonder how many training rooms they will run, seeing as server population is approximately 20,000 at this time.

If they run 5 training rooms that means 75 people out of 20,000 can play at one time. Odds are pretty slim. Even if they doubled that to run 10 rooms simultaneously.

Naturally not the full 20k will be queued for this event, but lets say for arguments sake, they were.

This is a cool Halloween treat for tankers. Playing hide and seek with a ghost tank on Halloween night. :) Time to use a Camouflage Halloween costume for my tank. And the perks as well.

In Russia, HUD hunts you.

We will do our best to start as many games as possible in those 3 hours.  The faster I remove your tanks from each map, the more games I can start. :izmena:

There will be no hiding from this Ghost.  :bush:

Why is there even an argument? As some fine chaps have proven long ago, if you have to drive a low-tier tank against tier X tanks, use a Medium Mk. I. It will easily slaughter 3 tier x tanks without taking a hit at all!

and remember that you are facing a tier 10 with 400+ view range, which might negate your camo if the ghost player put stuff like chocolate and optics
