I've always loved the full name for the StuG... Sturmgeshutz III Assault Gun. Too bad it was just a replica though, I always get excited when I see mid-WW2 German tanks!

McMole, is the tank museum up at Atherton tablelands still there, or did that new museum absorb some of his collection?

He had so much stuff..

It's still there I believe.

As the tanks in Cairns that were the same as Mareeba had are different examples of the same tanks if that makes sense.

I'm Bad , pleased to meet you !

is that a 'mockup' of the AC4 prototype? (AC1 with enlarged turret ring for testing only, AC4 having shared hull with AC3 clean 66 degree sloped upper hull)

Glad you're ok. Leave a 'brb, going on a 7 week holiday' in your status next time.

Also, trav, not just any yellow cap. I've i'm not mistaken that's world series circa 1985 canary gold cap.

Got this up on FTR for you, along with Aussienator's thread (surprisingly, he was named 'ASIA player', along with none of his pictures included lol)

Damn, I've been to Palm Cove many times (was there again early Oct) and didn't know about this. Next time might have to hire a car and do some exploring (did the whole Atherton and Mossman Gorge things on an earlier time there).

Oh, not that it matters, but your album is titled "Carins" lol.

So long, and thanks for all the fish

I would of sworn you were 16 too.

Chemo at your age, Damn, Hope you make a full recovery Maca.

I found 2 more of these Tanks on the Port of Brisbane yesterday, had just been offloaded from the car Ship you can see behind them, after reading Space's post looks like these are 2 of the new arrivals for the Museum, I saw the Stug in your pics & it has the same running gear.

A label next to the Con note said M & P UK

Edit: Anyone tell me what the FTR is? For the ignorant like me.

Is that a 704 I see? Seems strange to be in an Aussie tank museum.
