Are there any Australian based clans that play/want to play tier 8 stronks?

We have been trying for the last week or so and time out every time.

So if there are any clans willing to set up times to play some real tanks with actual tactics, let me know.

[FLEX] was into that a lot when I was there.  They do do a lot of 6's but also dabbled in 8's.

When I first joined CNC we ran a night of 8's that was fun.

We've tried 6 or 7 times in the last fortnight and not got one battle.  We've taken to running multiple 6 teams instead.

Think most clans are maxed in the SH department waiting for new content, when that rolls around you will see more teams again.

I was thinking of trying to start up a detachment at tier 8, but was thinking it maybe more incentive for people if their could be a 'gentlemans' agreement maybe it be with premiums so people can grind credits as well +/- maybe some of the new tier 8 lights or grinds etc.... If you want to be serious people start spamming gold and that is a turn off for me as tier 8 is about making credits and getting through unless the team is well organised. Will pm you guys if i get some peopls together say between 8-10pm australian EST

yeah we have the same problem, sit in queue for 5 mins it will timeout and no one is keen to waste another 5 mins so back down to 6 it is

I have the next few nights off work, so I will see what we at doing CW wise and try and work out a time with you.

The gentlemen's agreement is a decent idea, might have to give it more thought.

i'm just really bored with tier 6, there is barely any strategy or tank selection choices.

I view tier 8 stronks as a good way to train callers.  A loss doesn't lose you too much money so people are less annoyed when a new caller makes a bad call.  If you only run prems, then you lack medium tanks and thus it is useless for training callers.  Also if you're having to fling prem rounds everywhere, you're doing it wrong.  In 50 odd stronghold battles (tier 6 and 8) I've fired maybe a dozen prem rounds.

1) good calling i would think can be done if you have enough of the right classes of tanks... heavies at tier 8 can be substituted in many ways with the is6 and 112 (vs 110 and is3 staples, only difference maybe the t32 but you can use a t34 for this)

2) mediums are useful but on average the tier 8 lights poop all over all of the tier 8 mediums in every way shape and fashion that having enough light/mediums should never be an issue i would have thought, and people love driving em even if they may loose a lil money too (or maybe im wierd in that way)

3) doesn't have to always be prems, but just thinking of ways to make it as attractive as possible if only from the sheer monetary persepctive...

4) Would prefer no premium rounds at all simply for the $$$ perspective.

I still think it's morally wrong so in fact I'm right.

We have tried a few times to get into 8's, but the wait time is a killer. 6's generally roll straight in, so we get a good level of interest at that level.

Usually we look at them after CW or if we have no CW for the evening, so I guess if we were going to try to organise tier 8's at a specific time for a specific evening, we'd need to consider prime time etc.

I'm fairly sure the MP lads would be keen to run 8's, if there was a good chance for getting into a battle...

ANZAF are the same, its after Clan Wars has finished and we still have 20-30 players together, so we start a few strongholds.  Got into a handful of Tier 8's but most of the time it times out.  Is there not a way to show you how many teams are in queue so you don't waste your time?

Keen for the gentlemans agreement if you want also Dumbo...let me know.

About the gentlemens agreement; the only way i can see it working is with sparing gold use, i can't and won't force people to not use gold if they like but i will not endorse gold round usage. I will sort it out soon, after i work my head around WG's map [edited] up.

everybody uses sprem occasionally, nothing wrong with that, just sprem been first round in the barrel might be a bit of a put off, but no worries, will try to rustle people up for it but will have to be tomorrow for me, last nigts session has left me knackered without much sleep and working...

Hey Jordy, I've been meaning to ask since we ran into your guys in tier 8 strongks a few weeks back.

Your man _NFI_.  Does he have something in particular against Petco or is he just a bit of a tool to everyone?

Thanks Conan - (Insert Eggplant here)

Still trying to fathom that one. Who could dislike us? We're so cuddly and loveable, FG_ excluded.

Not everyone has a bunch of prems to chose from.

Meds in tier 10 do the same role as lights in tier 8.  It's the playstyle that is important not the physical tank.

Win and don't fling gold around when you don't need to.

You can still make cash on 8's especially with a prem account if you have one (I don't).  Also bonus crew training makes it worth the slight credit loss.
