T37 is chump feed for cromwells. HUEHUEHUE

True, but you are assuming that everyone in clan has cromwells.

Also, we have just one rule: bring a fast tank. There used to be no rule of what we could bring until we got sick of losing to fast teams. Thats how we ended up with rainbow teams at T6. T8s people have ESL tanks so its a lot easier.

then again it can work..

Lmao we bet , LUCK/ANZAF/ACURA/PCKAC/HOPE this way,
as we had a proper slow team of real tanks not toys.

They had silly fast lineup (cromwells and t37 toys)
They rushed our base to cap,
We turtled and wiped them out.

Beating ANZAF on himmelsdorf by camping out in A5-6, then when they capped we wiped them out in under 50 seconds.
That Was So funny.
( you lot should remember the SU-100 Firing HE wrecking your T37's and crommies)

Your clam's 34% sh win rate would be the success rate of your turtles I assume?

The main problem with your "tactic" is that your no longer playing to win.
In theory, all that the lights have to do when they see you turtle is return to base and wait for you to push out - which you never will for fear of the lights abusing their view range  - and this is not fun.
Your main reliance with a hard turtle tactic is the other team and catching them off guard / hoping they push into you. If the other team does nothing / does not push - you can not win.

At best, all your doing is:
A. Hoping that the attacking clan attempts to break your turtle.
B. Going for a draw (which is counted as a loss / hope you did more damage!)

Guess if it works for you, good on ya.
Me personally.... The less reliant I am on the other team in my mind... the better.

I would also argue that the hard turtle only really works on one or two maps (which allow it). Its too easy to pick it apart from range otherwise. Much like playing SPG in pubs, your much more reliant on the map choice if your main tactic is turtle here and wait for them.

*edit* just to expand on this -
A lighter / medium team on the other hand.
- Has a greater map presence / can move from attacking to defending alot easier than heavy's.
- Can abuse view range - if done right, the heavy's will never see who are shooting them.
- have no issues penning with standard AP. Plus generally have greater rate of fire. Combine with focus fire = dead tanks.
- have more control over the outcome of the match, the lighter team can decide if they want to attack, flank, defend, sit in a bush.
- Matches are generally quicker = more matches = More boxes for the box god!
