Would buy if it had pref MM but I'll just stick with the Super Pershing for now.

Decided to buy it - regardless of the bad MM - most German Mediums are pretty bad anyhow.  At least their guns are accurate, and that is how I will need to play it.  Get shots and hit and cause damage where I can.

However, a look at my stats, I do better in mediums than heavies, so concentrating in this class which I also enjoy, I will get the best value out of this game.

Here is my Medium line, I will place most of efforts into.

VK.30.02.M (tier 6) -> Panther/M10 (tier 7) -> Panther8.8 (tier 8) -> E-50 (tier 9) -> E-50M (tier 10)

How abbout this http://worldoftanks....rice-reduction/ please give back my 4200 gold that is mine.

Commanders,

As always, we have been analyzing financial and in-game statistics following the release of our German newcomer, the Panther mit 8,8 cm L/71. This analysis, and the important feedback of our players, has led to the decision of reducing the cost of this Premium medium tank. On December 30 at 02:00 PST (05:00 EST), the Panther mit 8,8 cm L/71 bundle will be removed from the Premium Shop, and will reappear at 03:30 PST (06:30 EST) at a reduced price.

If you purchased the Panther mit 8,8cm L/71 at the old price before the specified time, you will receive compensation of 4,200 within 72 hours of this annoucement for the difference in cost.

If you would prefer a full refund, please contact Customer Support by February 10, in which case the tank, Gold and Garage Slot will be removed from your account. Make sure not to spend the Gold compensation, as the full amount will need to be removed from the account in order to proceed with the refund. Before submitting a support ticket, please be sure to remove any Crew members in the Panther 8,8 or have five available Barrack Slots.

So, if you were thinking about picking up the Panther for yourself or as a gift for a fellow tanker, now may be the perfect time to do so.

Yes, because at the moment its more expensive than T8 heavies and almost twice the cost of the SP.

WG's really trying to make the Panther 88 a thing. I think the reason for the bad rep isn't so much about the tank itself but that it was perceived as a money grab. Not allowing players to test it and then putting it up first in the store at a high price is not something a good-natures, product/service-oriented business would do. Whoever thought of the idea clearly didn't think if out well.

Personally,  I think the non-pref MM is ok for the adjusted price. I'd buy it if it was on sale.
