Dear Players..

WG's 3rd anniversary is coming up end of April 2015 (Same weekend as Anzac Day)...

We would like to move the festivities away from Anzac day, and allow you the Anzac weekend to memorialize the special day as you wish..

The on ground AUS event will be located at... Perth's RFLan, Western Australia.  AUS's largest gaming lan event...

So please help get the word out, and send any Perth based clan mates & friends you know, to this thread so they don't miss out.

More Details on the venue are provided here..

http://rflan.org/

https://www.facebook.com/redflaglan

WG Activity at the event..

1. Myself and Chappo will be attending.

2. Special in game competitions / missions will be available. (No R/L assets will be provided such as Tshirts ETc , unfortunately)

3. Invite codes will be available for non WOT players at the event.

Entry.

Tickets are normally $50..

However Wargaming will be purchasing a large amount of tickets to award our players for them to attend.

If you wish to attend with Wargaming, please supply the following information.

1. Username

2. Real Name

3. Mobile Phone Number

4. Number of Games.

5. Will you be attending both days 11th & 12th (Preferred)

6. Will you be bringing your PC/Laptop/Gaming rig (Preferred)

7. Will you be attending alone? .. or with family/etc ... (If you intend on bringing family, how many PC's will you be bringing, what is their WOT history)

8. Details of your forum / game warning/sanction history.

9. Details of past community contributions

10. And finally "Why should you be invited, instead of Joe Tanker."

Please note tickets are limited, and tickets will be issued by a selection process based on the applications received.

Ticket submission time is limited, and will close at a currently unset date/time, depending on the number of applications obtained.

Please PM me the above ASAP...

Do not reply to this forum thread with your personal information...

Regards
Tan

Holding it in the world's most isolated capital city will help that too.

I don't know what RFLAN is, but the war memorial in canberra idea sounded good. Within easy reach for sydney siders and could get a few mexicans there.

Very hard to organise event around the war memorial at that time of year, trust me I am pushing for an event there as I think it would be fantastic. When it does happen (I'm confident it will) I hope A) I'm able to go B) you go C) we can continue our bromance face to face :)

Really? So all of the ground events held throughout Asian get a chance at goodies yet we don't! LAME!

This is just another example of failed customer relations by WG ASIA and it also helps fuels the fire of WG ASIA being biased against Aus and NZ players!

So if you live anywhere else in Australia forget even applying since you are not even worth a look in!

Wargaming has tried several events in Australia, the very poor attendance rate (even with solid RSVPs), huge cost of hosting the events(compared with other South East Asia countries) and lack of decent places to hold events doesn't help our situation. When WG try organise events amost everyone has an issue of where it is, what's involved and what they aren't getting. The 50 or so that rock up have a great time....

We all want to have events in Australia/NZ. We all need to promote the and build the Aus/NZ community, once we increase our size then you can assume WG will take notice and splash the cash, we just don't have the community numbers to match the other nations nor do we have the population density

This probably was the case 20 years ago..

But with Australia's links to Asia now days... and most of that being through West AUS due to its proximity to Asia.

Now its more like East AUS has the most isolated capitals in the world.

And that kinda puts the Hutt River Province in a great spot.. perhaps it can replace ACT shortly.
