A hundred years ago, a tradition began in Australia and New Zealand that honoured the soldiers who gave their lives to protect and restore the peace.

This is going to look good on the Matilda.

Finally some recognition for this day that the Australian and NZ players have been crying out for.

"Small gesture" I belieb is the term used. Now you just have to get top 3 for xp and dmg in a brit. 5x over.

Me thinks "event" needs to run for more than 2 days. The codes are redeemable until the 27th, but event for emblems ends 26th.

It also costs 32 gold if you don't want to do the mission.  Roughly 17 cents.

Yes, a small gesture all right... I went onto exterior to see what it would look like on my tanks if I got it and it is tiny. Not complaining that they finally added this but maybe next time, it could be a bit bigger.

my issue on this is how the hell will War gaming sea be able to monitor the actual Kiwis and Aussys versus the other non Anzac's playing trying to obtain this special emblems?

because I like this small notion towards anzac's, they could do a little more than just this silly event (and actually do something constructive and generous for the REAL anzac's by donating to major foundations and charities assiting the families of anzac's (past and current)

2nd Gen Pyromaniac, born of the ANZAS winds.......crazy commando of anzaf of old, and namer of BadIntent..

"He Bravely Ran, where no man would run..."

LOOK! a wild Robin appeared! "YIKES!!~~~RUN AWAY~~~~"

They normally donate x% of money spent on gold to Legacy and other charities. Why does it matter if non Aus-Kiwi players earn the emblem? It won't have any significance for them so why should it bother you?

Just a small point Content_WG, historicity...

Anzac day was named in 1916, one hundred years marks the anniversary of the first use of a "combined" A.N.Z.A.C. combat force for the landings along the peninsula. The "tradition that honoured", began subsequently.

How about instead of some basic logo, you really honour the Anzacs by finally installing that server in Sydney you promised us over 3 years ago so we can play in our own back yard with a ping that's NOT higher then when we play in the NA server east .You had the servers and the money lined up and just did nothing like the cheap assed server that you are.

Yes and its only white and small which wont stand out like the 4 leaf clover that was on rent for st Patricks or whatever Irish thing on then.

What I'd like to know is why isn't there an Australian tech tree?????

You have tanks for Japan and China and i hear Scandinavia is coming and maybe some other Swedish thing yet no Aussie tanks.

eg

Australian AC-1 'Sentinel' Cruiser tank Crew: five. Engine: three Cadillac series 39-75 V8 petrol engines. Weight: approximately 28,000kg combat laden. Armament: one 2-pounder gun, and an original 2-pounder gun, not fitted.
