In the next Update, the maps Karelia, Sand River, Westfield and Siegfried Line will be tweaked for balance, gameplay and aesthetic reasons.

Seems like Sand river's river dried up considerably , seems like the center might be a hot brawling zone .

Swamp desperately needs tier limitation if not complete rework.. You will see the purest form of campfest with tier 8++..

Nice changes on three other maps tho, I've known Karelia is unbalanced for long time since south base always gets to the hill first.. But i have no idea westfield had that much desparity..

Err thanks Neo', but you missed my point entirely. The panoramas were able to zoom from a fixed point camera only...

Westfield still in my opinion needs a lot more hard, large cover for heavy tanks.  There is too much SPG unsafe areas on that map for fluid gameplay.  Sure you can sit behind a house and poke all day long but meh.

Sand river changes look ok, again SPG heaven if there is more than 2 arty.

The town in westfield is too narrow , I think expanding the top part of the town would be better . At current state , the town is nothing more but a stalemate more often than not . Try to attack one segment and you find yourself getting shot left and right by camping heavies , not trying to criticise my heavy allies coz westfield is like swamp but with a little bit more choices . Whoever attack first dies and the camping shitlords will claim victory , I had victories in that map because my team dug in so deep we found oil .

Agreed.  If they extended that town to the edge of the map we would hit paydirt.  BUT there are still the magical forested areas that the large TD's mushroom in.  Sometimes breaking a solid defence with a lot of high tier TD's is difficult if nobody is prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice for the sake of some spots.

I love it that they finally revealed the winrates.

10% disparity. Makes me wonder about the rest of the maps - is 5% difference considered normal to them?

Imagine a 56% player meeting a 46% player. That's a 10% disparity. Or 52% vs 47% for a 5% difference. Wonder what kind of difference is considered negligible.

I still don't get why Dragon Ridge is removed but Phokorovka isn't. I think it's worse than Dragon Ridge. Dragon Ridge is playable, just that a lot of Russians were know to whine it a lot :/

No it's not anti-russian. It's a fact that Russian players whine a lot. Enough whine to make wine. Get it....heheh...?

I should excuse myself.

I think a couple have several points that can be viewed (Westfield etc if you look towards the top above the town there is a 2. position you can click on and warp too).

seems the others with fixed view are fixed over the changed area so I'm assuming the rest is pretty well unchanged.

DR just a terrible map really, its as bad as swamp/komarin etc.

i like how WG is using the win disparity between sides to target maps for balance changes.

Swamps should be the next map that WG should take a look at for its % of draw battles, i am pretty sure the battle timer run out draw is significantly higher here than in any other map.

Thanks!

I should have discovered stat-padding much much earlier...
