thats just sad, seeing the bat (autoloader) have more pen than the e-50m and 4202 considering what each were "good" at respectively, and note the difference with the e-50's prem round and the 50m's standard round, despite arguably being the same thing

and rip jageru heat, the only thing that could pen an is-7's turret :(

E-100 users --> Super happy

Soviet T10 trio users --> Cry back home

And strangely E-50's gun pen is BETTER than E-50 M

but why you want to reduce the pen ? making some tanks in-penetrative and earn more $$ by forcing us to use premium rounds?

luckily you guys increased E100s pen...
unluckily you reduced IS7 pen :(

looks like now i have to start grinding E100 instead of IS 7

I like the changes.

WG should lower pen values and improve gun handling so you know, aiming becomes more important.

This seems like a REALLY BAD Idea.

Some of these tanks only had Gun penetration as their strong point. Now they are on the same level as those lousy depression-less Russian Mediums.  Get ready to see people Load Gold ammo as soon as they see the HTs.

IS7 pen is the same.

Also, all 3 tier X RU meds get their pen nerfed, well all except one. 907 master race :^)

I will wait till implementation. If tier 10 Russian med's pen remains 232 , I will quit WoT.

While good players will be able to adapt to the pen changes, all this is going to do is increase gold spam by unskilled players because no longer can they pen tanks using their armour effectively.

Looking at the AMX 30B, I cannot agree with the changes to the pen, it has zero armour and relies on its good penetration values to defeat armoured tanks. With how APCR works at distance, reducing its pen value is going to hurt this tank alot ( I seem to have consistent low roll pens in it as well)

I really hope those preliminary penetration changes in the common test will not come to pass; the UK medium tanks get a bad deal especially the Centurion Mk. 7/1. The high penetration value is the best feature of the Royal Ordnance gun, then bringing it down to 240? That's just unfair, considering the Centurion based-vehicles do not have a high top speed compared to their peers, and on the Centurion Mk. 7/1, the reload time is around 10 seconds. Also, the premium HESH ammo isn't worth a thing unless you're firing at flat/thin armor. At least compensate the Centurion Mk. 7/1 tankers by reducing the reload time/increasing the dpm of the 105 Royal Ordnance gun, please?

Wait, you mean I cant just right click a tank and hold down left click with APCR anymore?

What do you expect me to do, aim?

well its sorta makes sense, mediums now are kind of overpowering compared to HT, TD, LT.

Maybe WG trying to force it into a flanker role instead of an all round role that can do a lot of things better than the other roles.

And honestly the nerf isnt that horrible. you can still pen from the front side if you can hit weakspots.

Although i dont see why they nerf the TD pen values as well....

But if the t54 is getting pen nerfed, will the t55a also get nerfed?

This is to bring heavies back into the game.

I would assume that the T55a will be nerfed. They (Generally) cannot directly nerf a premium or reward tank without offering reimbursement, but indirect nerfs across the board (i.e. Pen nerfs) can be done and have been in the past.

yeah makes sense in pub matches, but in CW it may cause the TD's to become less useful than a HT as a sniping/defensive tank.

tho in general this entire nerf doesnt matter since arty gon' click ya anyway.

so hide yo tanks, hide yo wifes.

Agree with this 100% the reason you play the Cent 7/1 is for its pen (and its slightly above average turret). Now it gets the slowest reload and less pen then the type 61?? And the poor FV the gun was good now it cannot even die gracefully ...
