That's right, Shia knows what I'm talking about. What's that? Oh yes the T67, the Tier 5 American Tank Destroyer that isn't Hugh Jackman. Do it, buy it, this thing is like the Zeus of Tier 5 Tank Destroyers. I used to think this way of the StuG III, stealthy, accurate and damn sexy to look at, I even mentioned that once in these very forums until someone was kind enough to mention the T67, better they said it was! Blasphemy! How could anything be better than beloved StuG!? But for the love of SerB I was wrong, I had to buy one to try it out, the M8A1 was pretty mediocre, I grinded it from start to finish to get this thing, was it worth it? Don't think I need to answer that.

The Stock Grind:

It wasn't even that bad to be honest, the stock T67 looks like its former self way back when it was called the T49. You start out with a rapid firing 57mm cannon than reminded me alot of the T-34. This gun is quite underwhelming in all honesty but it gives you a little insight to what the upgraded gun will be like later on, fast firing, mediocre accuracy..Think of this as Goku before he went Super Saiyan for the first time. What to research first? Well the Radio you should already have unlocked from the M8A1 so cross that out. I would suggest the Engine first, speed is what makes this TD what it is, a mobile Assassin of Death. After that get the Suspension so you can mount the upgraded open top turret and from there the 76mm AT M1A1 gun, oh yeah.

Gameplay:

So how to play this fast, rapid firing, lightly armoured TD? Well my first suggestion would be to not get spotted, not get shot at, and not get killed. A little easier said than done I know. Fortunately even though a child throwing a rock could probably penetrate you, you have excellent camo values. You can kemp bush all day long in this thing, would I suggest this style of gameplay? Yes and No. The Mobility of the T67 allows you to react to any situation in the game you are in, if you sniping down one flank and the other flank falls which is so God damn common in this game you can easily make your way over there to make a difference. That is how I play this TD, for the first part of the game I try and make my way to somewhere where I can put my gun to good use, if your gun ain't firing you ain't doing anything to contribute to your team winning, and that goes for all tanks. NEVER play aggresively in the first half of the game, hide behind a bush, a rock, a tree just anything to hide you from incoming fire. Low HP and crap armour will spell your doom very, very quickly. Instead dish out as much damage as you can until the later parts of the game when the enemy are all on low hp and it's time to mop them up, this is what this TD is good for. I play it like a Light Tank this late in the game, I attack, I auto aim and I use my speed to end the game and secure victory. But an important thing to remember is you are NOT a light tank, sure you're fast, sure you're agile, sure you have a good little gun but the one thing that sucks about this thing, the Turret Traverse, Oh God this thing turns slower than a Maus in the Lakeville Valley, so just don't even attempt to circle jerk anybody unless you know full well what you're doing.

Equipment:

Medium Caliber Gun Rammer (I shouldn't really have to say why but for you stupid people, DPM is what makes this TD, so amplify it.)

Camo Net. (Kemp Bush all day long)

Binoculars. (Gonna have hard time killing anything if you can only spot people when they're already within range to end you.)

Crew Skills:

Well being a Tier 5 it's not very likely that many people would have that many skills to play with, fortunately for me I had a T34 American Premium Tank that I rage sold, don't ask me why. But I had a good crew, so naturally I retrained them for this. Obviously I'd Suggest Sixth Sense on the Commander and camo on the rest, second skill I Run Brother's in Arms, combined with a Gun Rammer I can fire a shot every 2.7 seconds, it is so so so lovely.

Looks:

Sure Iv'e seen more attractive vehicles, but its personality more than makes up for its mediocre looks, Hot or Not? I'd say Hot.

Conclusion:

Iv'e never really reviewed a Tank before so go easy on me I just really had to share my love for this thing, after 300 games, 2 marks of excellence (Just cant seem to commit my time enough to getting the 3rd, hate getting to 94% and having a run of bad games so Iv'e given up for now) and a 58% Win Rate I can easily say that this thing is a Beast, get one, but it, DO IT, MAKE YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE.

It used to be amazing before it was nerfed, back when it was called the T49 and wasn't open topped.

+1 for using Shia

Definitely my fave tank in the game. My crew are on their 3rd skill and have played 1300 games in it. I love spotting through a bush. Roll back till your behind it, then machine gun them while watching their barrel twitch as try and work out WTF is shooting them. I run vents, camo, and bino's. Because I think the aim time is more important than dpm. It also improves all of the soft stats. When MM is unkind. I always run this tank.it's competitive in all teirs it see's as your also a great scout. I've had awesome games where I've sat ahead of the t7's and spotted my way to a great score

T67 is Seal Clubbing Tier 5 of excellence thanks to its deadly combo: cammo rating with good crew / DPM / penetration.

Grind any tier 4/5/6 and you're guarantee to meet [SLOTH] players in it.

No, don't get me wrong. They just share a common dislike of the 2nd half of the tank research tree

So they're the UT-1/BLAZE clan for the middle tiers?

Sidescraping is a game mechanic abuse - TOG1R. PM ingame if you want to plat. Something crazy below this; Apparently Aussies are bad@tonks.

Just so much better, cannot handle 7pm aest, I'm sorry but aussies suck at this game and are usually reallly annoying (I am aussie).

I also saw BLAZE in top-tiers. Was a surreal sight seeing him get smashed faster than when he's in tier 2.

SLOTH is not necessarily middle-tier UT-1 or BLAZE, since SLOTH can also go down the tiers to beat up fellow sealclubbers.

what's all this Blaze bashing?  Blaze is actually a girl and a very nice person who I have known a long time and she's a cut above most posters on this forum

Not the player BLAZE, the clan [BLAZE].

Bashing [BLAZE] is simply pent-up fury from having to endure all those low-tier battles while one tanker just camps and snipes everyone. And while playing lower-tiers every once in a while is fun, systematically stamping out new players for thousands of games each is simply excessive. No wonder WG had to break apart MM just to prevent sealclubbing.

UT-5 would suit them well.

Went to the Hall of fame. Selected SLOTH. Had a look at "average number of tier 10". Closed the web page.

ok well... it's her clan... I do wonder why some decent players hang around lower tiers and rarely go above T5 but that's the way the game is structured

I have always said give 1 point for a win at T1 and 10 points for T10 and THAT would be an incentive to climb the tiers but at the moment a win at T1 is worth the same as T10 and there are 100s of blues and purples with high WN8 who have never climbed into anything above T6/7

I don't understand why players would download all 20+ GB of the game, then use only 1/3 of resources. High-tier tanks are interesting too.

But I digress. Each tier group has their own meta (low-tiers are quick kill-or-die CoD-esque fights, mid-tiers are camo abuse, high-tiers are more balanced), so probably UT-1, BLAZE, and SLOTH simply enjoy the other metas of the game....possibly to the detriment of the new players
