The Hellcat is probably better than Su-100.

Su-100 leads to a great line.

Kitties line decreases after it.

Looking at your stats you wouldn't want to go past tier 6 until your stats improve.

If your simply asking what to use, rather than the line, I would recommend hellcat.

They are totally different.

SU-100 is and leads to derps with HE-proof armour. Itself is an IS without a turret derping at tier 6 and boasts good accuracy for a 122mm D-25.

Hellcat is a Cromwell with a 90mm gun but slowly turning turret and aluminium foil as armour. It leads to heavily armoured turreted TDs with strong guns and strong frontal armour but weak sides and rear. Some turreted TDs do not have 360 degrees traverse (T28 Proto and T110E4)

How can armor in the game be stronger?

Make shell fly wide more, and let RNG control that.

Hellcat used to be great (pre-nerf) now it's just good but that traverse is frustrating

if have played the SU-85 think of it as more or less the same, but better! both the 100mm D-10S and the 122mm D-25S are good choices depending on your playstyle, and it has better view range (not the best) at 350m but compared to the practically blind 280m on the SU-85 that's far better.

the Hellcat used to be one of the best tier 6 TDs, but skillful use of its advantages can still make it valuable on the battlefield. the fast speed means it can reach early sniping/spotting positions early on and can allow you to relocate around the battlefield quickly, but the low maneuverability and poor armor makes it clear that this is in no way a medium tank as it doesn't do well at close range. make use of its turret and long view range to keep the enemy at bay for your 90mm gun to work
