In Update 9.9, the graphics of World of Tanks will be extensively upgraded. This article describes the incoming changes, including updates in anti-aliasing methods, modified shadows and improved lighting effects.

From the front page..."In Update 9.9, the graphics of World of Tanks will be extensively upgraded. This article describes the incoming changes, including updates in anti-aliasing methods, modified shadows and improved lighting effects."

 

It makes me think we'll be told 9.9 is due for release any day now.

 

I must say, it's nice of WG to be so proactive on their announcements. Much better than the bad old days when there was a calendar released at the start of each month outlining basics of monthly events\specials, and >24h warning for specials starting.

I have quite a powerful gaming pc, but what affects my WoT experience the most, is my lag spikes. Something beyond the control of any PC's hardware. Yesterday for every 10 seconds of in game play, I had 1 second of freeze frame.

That's a 10% loss of game playability, and I'm cautioning on the side of being generous. It was actually closer to 25%.

pretty bad fps with max setting and resolution 1600*900 using amd fx 8320e+r9 280x :(
