Funny, I'd actually went through some of COL Goh Lye Choon's memoirs before to use in my thesis. I'd seen him during the rehearsal but hadn't known it was him, if I'd known I might have said something...

Drove past those Leo2s around midnite Sunday nite on CTE. There was a convoy of about 8-10 of em loaded onto low loader trailers with police and land rover escort. They look huge, almost about the size of a bus, jus shorter, with the tracks possibly slightly exceeding the trailers width. The convoy took up almost 3 lanes, leaving only lane 1 available for over-taking.... made me feel so tiny in my sedan... cannot imagine a Maus...

Better compare to stock AMX-13-75 as AMX 12T is a on paper prototype.

Difference are better seats, old engine changed to better and less dangerous diesel, fuel tank changed to new self sealing, fire control, NVG / thermal sights, GPS and radio swap out for capable modern frequency hopping.  Some SM-1 have been tested with some other equipments including an air conditioning unit but abandon due to unable our armor's requirement and test. If I miss anything please add on by other experts, thanks.
