Those are very disappointing rewards for a 10 day campaign...

already have an FCM 50t.

a premium T20 would be nice though. what's the difference between the T20 and T23 by the way?

t23 runs fast, when backwards.

has the 76mm gun of the t6s, which is meh in terms of alpha and pen in many occasions. hopefully the upcoming buff will change that a bit.

It will be interesting to see the campaign mechanics, so that we can best prepare on how to abuse them.

Note: The armor penetration of the T23E3 will be improved in the closest upcoming update:

  • Armor-piercing ammunition - 149 mm (was 128 mm).
  • Piercing ammunition - 190 mm (was 160 mm).

So what piercing? Soul piercing? Would be cool.

It only mentions two fronts - what tier tanks for each front I wonder?

Although the rewards aren't gigantic, this is one event my clan can get behind. Good luck to all participants!

"Late in the 21st Century"...??? aren't we supposed to be in WW2 era tanks???... isn't that the very essence of WoT, WW2 tanks????

Why does this sound like a desperate bid to keep up with that new tank game that if you type the name of in here it is enough to get you a forum ban.

Please WoT, you jumped the shark with the introduction of those BS, non existent Japanese heavies, now you stretch the credibility even further by placing WW2 era tanks in the late 21st century.

Here's an idea, why don't you just focus on introducing the tanks you promised so many patches ago.. Hint: GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!!!!

Now...I think I might wander off to that "unmentionable" tank game... anyone coming...oh, wait... :-)

First in to congratulate the 500 vreeloaders who will play their multiple accounts and snap up the first 1800 free tanks.

You can't handle the truth!.

How many tanks does that leave for patrons, oh that's right, they already bought them.

I feel bad that SEA managers are doing their best, yet failing. It was once a great competition, CW.

Sorry, I see I mis-spelled freeloaders. Apologies to anyones feelings. But who shall care for mine?.

given the number of small corridor maps and turtle clans i doubt that'd work every game.

I have to say that this campaign will be subject to rigging and cheating like never before.

I play artillery because I like to promote dynamic gameplay.

It says "early in the 21st Century", though, which is...right about now. You could nitpick more of the details, but until we find out what tier is this CW event, we can't tell for sure. After all, many third-world countries still regularly use tanks like the Chaffee and T-54, all within WoT's timeline. Though why all the major military powers of the UN would hold back their Abrams and T-80's and instead fight a proxy war with third-world countries (and their mid-21st Century equipment like the Maus) over uranium in Africa, no idea.

I'd laugh though if the UN called up France, Russia, China, and Japan to bring out their FT-17's to Africa to secure the uranium.

Still, at least we have a multiple-paragraph background story for our event.

Q : for those who have those 2 reward tanks already. How will you be compensated? With gold or credits?

This post is taken from ru server on the same topic:
FCM = 11900
T23= 7000
P.S. У кого в ангаре уже есть FCM 50t или Т23Е3 - компенсация будет золотом, 11900 и 7000 золота соответственно.
