Oh Yeah everyone is sooo excited look at all the positive replies.

WG you have beenabsent in AUS/NZ for years despite all our pleading.

We get shit ping, shit packet loss and shat on by other countries and you want us to join you at PAX?

Give us something in return and maybe.... but ....

Serious question: how will WG deal with the live PAX events? Barring a miracle, I can't imagine 200ms ping is going to be very conducive to fun gameplay for people at WG's booth, let alone doing those public+pro competitive matches. It'll also make those missions for "exclusive premiums" harder :/

Interesting to see how they deal with the crap ping, maybe after they see the crap we have to go through they might actually do something about it and then it might sink in and realise why they are losing so many Aus/NZ players to other games.

What exactly could they do about it? Build a new AUS to Asia cable? Nup.

There is no doubt they will be able to resolve the High PING and Packet loss for demo in PAX it will be an in house server or similar.

It's hardly going to be a good showing, if the game is unplayable because of High Ping.  Maybe some Bikini Girls with Balloons might distract potential customers from the Ping?

What are the special give aways that will make it worth spending $60 to go instead of staying home and playing WOT?

I'm not bagging Pax guys.  Lots of my friends go because they are into multiple games, love to dress up and meet their friends.  I've never been a convention person, so I am asking.  Sometimes there are giveaways at these events that make it worthwhile because they are only available at the convention.  I asked a serious question -- I wasn't jumping on the "let's bag everything" bandwagon!

It's not much, but here are some pictures of WG's promotional material that was sent with the early booked PAX tickets.

Besides in-booth live demos, previous years have had on-stage competitions between the public and public+pros, interviews with some of the higher-ups, and gold/peripheral/accessory giveaways. I'd recommend PAX for the entire event, not just to see WG.

I vaguely recall that last year you got a code for a day's premium (might have been 3 days), a tier 2 tank and some gold.   Roughly 8 dollars value.  There were competitions during the day for headphones and mice and stuff from Alien Ware and the opportunity to meet some WG staff.  I havent decided on going yet, so I was looking to see if there was something more than this offered.

I shared the banner on my facebook page and filled out the fields.  Were we supposed to receive a code or something because I haven't gotten anything yet.

OMG are they giving you a RED CRAYON Darvis?  :honoring:

On kinda relate OP news, Does anyone else feel WOT Asia couldn't have picked a more Worse time for their advertising Campaign.

I've been seeing adverts on T.V and Foxtel etc... but I've got to wonder about any New Customer they get, being Immediately Disapointed, when the log in and start their first Match with over 250 ping and packet loss.

Worse so if they Purchased Premium Account Time.

Then also what are they going to do a PAX, with a Game thats Laggy, and going to be hardly a good showing for the product.

PAX is huge in Melbourne Inglorious.  I'm not surprised that you saw adverts everywhere.  I'm just not a convention goer, although so many of my friends are.  They will be there this weekend for the cosplay.
