Hi all do the Japanese Tech tree will have Spg's or TD's kinda curious cause there's a lot of Spg and TD's in the IJA and IJN during WW2 so yeah oh and the 300MM mortar is a Japanese SPG might be a Tier 10 maybe if they implement this they might bring The Sturmtiger as a Worthy  Opponenet in the Tier 10 Matches and some of you will say "imagine 3 of them in a platoon" yeah i feel you two but imagine a 3 Sturmtiger plat Vs a 3 Japanese 300MM Spg plat that will be kinda fight of Gods XD but yeah will we ever be available to see them ingame or will they be gone in the Bottom of the Sea0_72ef_2578d31b_orig.jpg

First off, learn punctuation

 

Fun as it sounds to have tanks like the Sturmtiger appear in the game, it wouldn't work. As a TD it would be horribly broken and barely usable in battle, since that big-[edited] derp gun would need to be balanced to death, just imagine shotgun mode in a GW E-100.

 

as for Japanese TDs and SPGs, most of the stuff you might have found online were fakes made up by tank modelers based from some existing tank chassis, and then because not many people check the sources or archives they just roll with it

^some of those vehicles look legit though, like the ho-ni and the bison-clone. Japan can make a td line, though i dont know much about higher-tier tds. Wg can put in the spgs as tds to make an he-reliant paper-derper td line similar to o-ho.

 

The 300mm ha-to is on wikipedia, but i doubt it would be in the game until wg reworks the spg concept.

Do we really need more SPGs? I feel the pain of WG - half the playerbase is yelling to remove them and the other derp half is suggesting to add more.

There isnt a way to please everyone is there?

I'm not good at this game, its just that the rest of the server sucks~

If WG add more spg line, nothing will change. They are capped to 5 per team anyway, and the broken mechanic carry on the same in them. Worst thing can happen is you got a 10 spg game, same as now. So why not?

You should study demand and supply as well as possibility and dispersion.

Tldr, If more arty lines result in more players playing arty, thats one more SPG in the queue and one less regular tank. The frequency of <1 arty game decreases exponentially. The frequency of >3 (per side) arty game increases. The dispersion (or lineup) of tanks in a queue would vary greater with wider inbalance. The possiblility of max 5 arty per side games would increase. Aka more arty in every game even though there is a fixed limit.

Given that Japan already has a line of largely fictional HTs, most of which don't even seem to run to a full set of blueprints, I don't see why they couldn't do the same with SPGs and TDs if the demand was there.

 

Still, I'd agree that there are already more than enough options for people who want to lurk at the edge of the map and drop one shot doom on anything that pops up on the mini-map, so perhaps it would be prudent not to add any more until someone comes up with a means of balancing what's already in the game in a satisfactory fashion?

 

Personally, I think if the game gets any more arty it should be in the vein of the FV304, with relatively lightweight and short-ranged guns that make up for their lack of boom with mobility and handling. If all artillery needed more skill to play well, less people would take it up as the path of least resistance to the higher tiers.

They do increase the number of 3+ game arty, but won't cause imbalance in queue since MM will pick only 5 arty max per game, those who left out won't be pick and have to wait for another game to form. This will cause longer queue time, but not imbalance.

The point that people are dropped from an existing queue and wait for a new queue to form is known as matchmaking inbalance

Wtfk.

Longer queue times are the results of inbalance.

About matchmaker being "broken" is another thing.

Japanese Arty would in all likelyhood be a bastardisation of their imaginative HT bodies most likey with Japanese Naval artilery Guns.  Just to keep things balanced of course.  :trollface:
