This is a thread created for the purpose of organising feedback for the current ongoing Season of Clan Wars and maybe CWs in general for Andrew (Minsk HQ CW Manager) in an easy to read and navigate format. Andrew has been tasked with "resurrecting Asia server's global map activity" so please provide feedback related to that.

 

Please just provide simple easy to read feedback for features believed to be harming the long term health of Asia Clan Wars.

Leave general conversation/arguments on this topic to the Skype (for ease of collation).

Overall

Hi guys.. here are my suggestions based on some feedback I have received so far from my clan
 

Season lenghs vary but are generally way too long

Add some missions or something (a little like season 3) to make things interesting

Maybe add a theme to the Season, time of year, locaiton in the world (not to the detail of campaign) but enough to make it interesting - align prizes/missions to the theme

You want people to play, have fun, be enged, be challened, build team play/teamwork - playing CW should not be a chore/job

 

global map

SEASON 3

size and shape - crap design (corrodor)

timezone - not enough provance in middle timezones (applies to campaign too)
amount of prov = too low

  • Tier VI Front – 38 provinces.
  • Tier VIII Front – 36 provinces.
  • Tier X Front – 37 provinces.

SEASON 2  - Much better

  • Tier VI Front – 83 provinces with 20 landings.
  • Tier VIII Front – 83 provinces with 20 landings.
  • Tier X Front – 90 provinces with 21 landings.

 

Season 3 prizes

Provence income
WAY WAY too low.. Not worth the effort
examples
- Capture and hold a provance at T6 for 7 days, earn 168 gold ONLY.. then pay your clan for spending 30mins per night for defence (14 gold each for 12 people for a whole week of effort)

- capture and hold 2 provance at T10 for 7 days, earn 3360 and then pay your clan for spending 1hour for defence and give them 112 gold only for a week effort for 30 people
 

 

Prizes

same boring prizes (T6, 8 emblems, T10 summer cammo) - for all 3 seasons

this could be a different cammo per time of year (winter/autum(fall) = unique winter, summer/spring = desert), CW Campaign already gives summer cammo

Perhaps add personal missions for CW (like is used for Ranked battles) to get more new people and existing people involved with CW

Perhaps give access to unique 30 or 60 day rental tank as prize in addition to the permanent emblem/camo

NOTE: there is a bug since ~9.12 in garage that STOPS players from viewing unique award emblem/camo - they are permanently applied - NO preview available

 

Another idea is to enable some of the random badges like stand against 5, cap out without being spotted etc be opened up to be earned in CW too.

 

CW Season 3 rules

  • Vehicle lock is enabled. - tweak the timing (ie locking a T10 HT for 8 days is not ideal for smaller clans or players with limited T10s to be competetive)
  • Ransacks are enabled - set to 3 days (from 5)
  • Defense bids are disabled. - ok
  • Increasing province income is disabled. - only ok, only if provance income increased lots
  • Number of landing tournament participants: 32. - ok
  • Maximum number of active landings applications per clan: 3.  - ok
  • Clans that already own provinces cannot participate in landing tournaments. - ok
  • Division modules are enabled (strategic effect). - ok
  • Division upkeep cost – free. - ok
  • Players can no longer attack a landing province from adjacent territories - ok (leave this for the moment, not sure if good or bad - until end of Season 3)
  • Battle time shift - ok (leave this for the moment, not sure if good or bad - until end of Season 3 - Gut feel is this might be bad)

 

Other CW Season rules missing

  • Division modules of ARTY/AIRSTRIKE - Turn THESE ON
  • "Fog of War" - ????
  •  

 

Time to prepare - way too long @ lower tiers

T6, 7 tanks = 15mins

T8, 10tanks = 15mins

T10, 15tanks = 15mins

this could be changed to 1min per tank ..... T6 = 7mins, T8 = 10mins, T10 = 15mins
allows for speedy turn around and people can move on to next clan event, strong hold or random battle - more players back in queue (more game play, less waiting)

 

 

other factors making CW not worth while to play

  • Tundra mod cheat (removal of tree/bush)
  • destructable item mod (enemy location on mini-map)
  • aimbot mod (target enemy tank week points, auto shoot)
  • lazermod (enemy turrent direction)

 

  • offset chipping/spam clans (Aggressive moderator investigation and penalties)
  • break between Campaign and season way too long

It shows how much the map was reduced in size over time, specifically tier x

Please put the clan penalty log button on each clans portal - so other clans can review easily.

currently the only way to see is wait for the clan to get a warning in battle then click via the global map

quick question how are we meant to have a revolt when the only piece of land not a landing is the gold pot which gets burned every 4 days ?

 

so because of the map lay out there is no way we can see what happens in a revolt
