We're counting down to Wargaming's 18th anniversary! Since this year is also Wargaming Asia's 4th anniversary, we're featuring 4 battle hero achievements in this challenge!

 

Event start: 22 July 2016 at 00:00 (UTC+8)

Event end: 5 August 2016 at 23:59 (UTC+8)

 

Registration:

1. Let us know that you're joining by posting "Count me in!" in the registration thread.
2. Players may NOT use a different forum account to register a different in-game name (IGN) for participation.
3. Registration will close on 28 July 2016 at 14:00 (UTC+8).

 

Mechanics:

1. Limited to Random Battles using tanks Tier 5 and higher.
2. Achieve either of following conditions in the same battle:
   •  Brute Force:
     • Win the battle.
     • Get the Confederate OR High Caliber achievement. [updated]
   •  Team Work:
     • Win the battle.
     • Get the Brothers In Arms OR Crucial Contribution achievement. [updated]
3. Each battle where requirements are met will count as 1 point for that category.
   • If the multiple achievements are acquired, the number of points will correspond to the number of achievements received (Players wins a battle with Confederate, High Caliber, Brothers In Arms and Crucial Contribution medals = 2 Brute Force points and 2 Team Work points). [updated]
4. Prizes:
   •  Type 59 + Garage Slot (10 winners):
     • Randomly drawn from players who have at least 18 Brute Force and 18 Team Work points with at least 3 points contributed by each achievement. [updated]
     • Example: [update]
       •  Qualified: 15 High Caliber and 3 Confederate ; 3 Brothers in Arms and 15 Crucial Contribution.
       •  Not qualified: 16 High Caliber and 2 Confederate ; 2 Brothers in Arms and 16 Crucial Contribution.
   •  500 gold (40 winners total):
     • 20 winners randomly drawn from players with at least 10 Brute Force points.
   • 20 winners randomly drawn from players with at least 10 Team Work points.
5. Players will not need to submit screenshots or replays for this event.
6. Only battles fought within the event period will go into the official count.

 

Important:

• Winners will be announced via the discussion thread within 1 week after the event concludes.
• Prizes will be awarded within 1 week after the winners are announced (usually sooner!). Prize awarding updates will be indicated in the winner announcement post.

Question, do we need to complete Confederate AND High Caliber in the same game, or do we need to get one or another?

 

Also, if you have to get both achievements, then I would be honestly surprised if somebody gets this reward...

Yes, you need to get both Confederate and High Caliber in the same battle.

So basically 2 weeks to get 18 of not just High Caliber or Confederate(which is easy enough), but in the SAME battle.

And also 18 of BIA/CC in the SAME battle.

I can probably already predict the IGNs of the people who are going to get it. Easy guess is T-22 removed/in garage.

Or some lucky guy who doesn't deserve it and doesn't even know how he got it....

Event requires registration so players who manage to meet the requirements but didn't register won't be included in the draw.

I honestly doubt the non-English speakers who just copy paste do know what they are doing lmao. As far as i've seen, there is only a Japanese translation.

And still does not fix the problem of the contest itself being unreasonable through normal play, and i suspect we will see riggers doing these, either visibly or not that i cannot say.

The mechanics have also been translated in Traditional Chinese and Thai so all supported languages are covered.

 

I suspect a lot of players will try for the lower-tier battles to meet the requirements. I'll reserve judgment until I see the actual results.

If that goes for Brothers-in-Arms and Crucial Contribution too thats an EXTREMELY steep criteria for what is very obviously going to end up being a 'Lottery for Riggers'.

I have 40 of those awards TOTAL over 25,000 battles, who ever thought that 18 in ~2 weeks is reasonable needs to do a recheck, that criteria is entirely beyond reasonable, I was actually keen to give it a shot to get a chance for the lottery and seeing whats actually needed........

Try entering a battle without a platoon, then spam invite at the end of the battle to high kill people.

yea that works, but they do have to accept it.

Also bia + cc requires 3 each, and 12 total over 3 members. Extremely difficult.

TBH, this challenge is for unicum plats or extreme unicums, not that I complain tho. I joined just to sh*t and giggle )

But srly, missions and challenges are getting more and more ridiculous. The current in-game marathon is hopeless for most people who can't spend 5 hours playing daily. I'm a normal player with current avrg exp of 1k per battle, 50 battles take me at least 5+ hours non-stop playing. That's at least 18 days of torturing. And now this, WG please!

yes yes, please deprive people of type 59 so you can get 8k gold for free.

I would pay 100sgd easily for a type 59 yet there's always that spoil sport like you who is probably going to rig it just so he can get free gold.

So you got this contest running in the same timeframe as the T-44-100 ( R ), the requirements are very hard to be done let alone doing them 18 times EACH and all before 5th of August... These missions are getting near impossible to do even for people that play all day, let alone having people who can only jump on a few hrs a day.

the requirements with the Brute Force section that includes High Caliber + Confederate is not impossible. Try with premium tier 5 + gold shells, I bet you can get more than 18 points, no pain no gain. And the only thing I'm questionable about the compensation for those who have possessed type 59
