after talking to a few python dev's, i believe that illegal injections is a bigger problem then aimbots, treefall mods and the like. but as large parts of WOT  is developed using python and in essence old libraries this will remain until WG redevelops those parts that are using old libraries. With the latest few patches it is clear that this is the direction that WG is going.

 

Removing the mods folder would not make such a big impact to the use of "illegal mods", matter of fact removing the res_mods folder would be more detrimental then beneficial overall.

And who would you propose are getting awards regardless of whether they are cheating in clanwars?

2 clans / alt clans / alt clan leader .. attacked and didn't turn up to battles on the last day.

These clans were basically disbanded, with the clan leader perma'ed

There is no need to remove rewards, as they didn't participate in clanwars except the fake attacks they didn't turn up to. So they didn't earn any rewards.

 

1 clan / the main clan.. Had the clan leader banned for 30 days. Due to them also being the clan leader of the two offending clans above.

This clan fought its battles, Played all event, Won some awards, and has no reason to have those rewards removed as they gained no advantage to the above.

 

Before starting a riot, it would be good if you understood what the topic was.

But when alts have rule violations the sanctions on alts are heavy.

So its also dangerous to have a clan with a alt clan leader.. If that clan starts breaking rules.

So there is no hold up there..

 

There is another issue not related to rule violations , which id like to make alterations to, to ensure the awarding is fair..

And that issue is semi handled now too..

 

So as such HQ have been requested to pay awards.. And then provide us a list of who was paid.

We will then likely make some additional awards, additional to the normal, which I'll announce and clarify later.

 

So schedule is something like..
Awards as scheduled paid late today.

Some additional awards probably paid tomorrow.

Hopefully someone will start a new thread and post a screenshot soon of their garage with the reward tank in it. Then we can expect the complaints to roll through again about people not selecting the reward tank that they wanted.

This is a single reason for the decline in the SEA player base.

A member of a certain clan that has posted his own replay, complaining of racist vilification (whilst founded), that clearly shows himself as using an aimbot is not in an way punished but a respected clan commander that is a member of COAF gets his/her account suspended for delaying a battle!

I'm not sure, it was handled / processed by staff, who aren;t working atm

7/30/Perma depending on previous offenses, and rewards withdrawn.
