SPGs are too op, let me explain.
They have super unrealistic god view mode, which is the initial condition for making it so op.
People say spgs are nerfed, but no, even for me, I have never played spgs before, borrowed an tier 6 spg ccount to play and did more than a thousand damages, believe or not, it's fact. Because I tried, I can really feel the op-ness.
Some argue that you have to learn to dodge spg shots, not camping in the same position, bla bla bla. Not even mentioning the slow tanks like E100, fast tanks can also get sniped by spgs. Why? It's because world of tanks maps are small, where there are only a few strategic camping/defending positions in the maps. It is so easy for one to predict where the enemies located.
There maybe too little coverage to avoid spg. You can get shot even hiding behind rocks/hills/mountains, which makes normal tanks so hard to do their job.
This is World of TANKS. Yes I know this is a game, it can be unrealistic, but considering the ratio of the spg's effectiveness to the map size (I don't know how to tell in words, I hopw you get what I mean, like spgs can easily cover a major attack route), you gotta make some balance or adjustments. If spg can be this unrealistically accurate, make bigger maps.
More importantly, this issue brings other negative impacts to the game, ie. campers, unsportsmanship, inappropriate actions. At the end of the day, we players play for entertainment and enjoyable experiences, of course for professionals they have different values in the game, but dear Wargaming, customers are willing to pay, but it seems like you are trying too hard to earn. Wargaming has done changes and developments that obviously make players to pay more.
Suggestions:
-Wargaming can also decrease the alpha damages of spgs if they are so accurate.
-bigger maps
Clarification: probably one-third/ one-forth of matches are seriously affected by spgs. There are some more to tell, but I forgot.;P Nonetheless, I believe that these should be part of the major arguements/suggestions. I understand some might agree while some not. Feel free to discuss.
Thankyou.
