Interesting, the wiki states the shell normalization is doubled when penetrating spaced armor. The video says no normalization occurs when penetrating spaced armor. I guess the info in the wiki is outdated/inaccurate.

Thanks for the video, Wargaming, but can I suggest removing the plus-minus 25% variation on damage and penetration? Please take factors of luck out of the game.

It is a good video and it explains a lot of the secrets of this game. However I am suprised that spaced armour isn't effected by normalization when it should be.

Regarding HE shells, these may still damage a tank even if it just hits the ground beside it, right? Has anyone ever killed two tanks with one shot like this? Like a shell lands between two tanks that are really low on hit points and the HE shell's explosion kills them both?

Arty can do it, done it a few times myself. I saw a thread where someone managed to do it using KV-2's derp gun.

It makes sense, since space armor thickness could be too thin to effect the normalization. It'll just buckle and rupture under the tremendous kinetic force of the shell.
