G'day

Im still pissed the French TD line still has not had its fcm 36 Pak40 replaced with a new premium tank After its removal from the shop.
So after 17 Russian prem Hts, 12 Russian mediums, 14 germ med and 12 US medium premium tanks. Wg still continues to take steps backward in its updates and make copy tanks of tanks that are unneccesary
whilst they lack premium tanks for other lines, namely french light and td,& UK and US TD lines that can be bought in game or via the gift shop.

Despite the Foch line being dead since Wgs still-ongoing screwups and easy fixes with balancing a tank considered 'overpowered' (despite now adding a tier 6 with more overall armor and dpm), And the fact any and all truely deserving Wot players have abosultely no voice in the game, I have gone ahead and suggested a new premium tank for the line

I know there is already multiple suggestions and forums on other servers for this tank never the less here it is again

 

I have gone to several websites and done minimal research. and took parts off counterparts (Mostly Lorr 155 51, Knjpz and Ac 46/48) to organsise some statistics for it

'The Lorraine canon'D assult was designed to be a lightweight self propelled assult gun on the basis of the Char lorraine medium tank in 1950 Alongside the AMX 50 counterparts. The tank was initially armed with a 90mm gun, but later planned to house a 100mm cannon. The tank never left the prototype stage'

Generally the Lorr CDA will be similar to a french kanonjagdpanzer, and like a more mobile version of the AMX ac 48, its gun options give this tank the option of being a candidate for tier 8 or 7. I have no clue whether the gun was a autoloader or a singleshot.

BOLD text means that the statistics are accurate, historical.

Option 3: Autoloader

Basically the tier 8 version with either the 100mm or 90mm With altered accuracy, DPM, ect stats. The items in the drum can be 4 to 6, im not very sure

AC 48 works because the majority of the tank's frontal profile is 150mm angled, which lets it tank tier 8 HT shells half of the time (and is invulnerable to tier 7 HT shells). It's no sniper, but it's the closest we get to a mobile assault gun in-game.

 

AMX CDC works because even if the French designed it as a TD IRL, it's turreted so it's inherently more flexible than a similar casemate version of it.

 

KJP...doesn't work. It's seen as one of the crappier tier 8 premiums to buy, especially in comparison to its tech tree counterparts Ferdie (assault bunker) JPII (hulldown bunker) Borsig (turreted), or even the premium counterparts JT88 (another bunker) JT P (upcoming premmie, stock Jagdtiger with no pref MM) or Skorpion (P2W-affentrager)

 

Sadly the LCDA looks like a KJP that's probably even worse; 40mm armor all over is just O-Ni and T49 food, while its camo rating it not really impressive either. To make players want it, it should have the autoloader, which would make it interesting, though not really a powerhouse tank.

I was thinking it could be similar to the knjpz but with faster acceleration, less camo and much better gun stats. Sort of making it like a E25.

But your probably right about it needing the autoloader, That would make it like a sniper/peak-out-when-noone is looking tank and unload its clip and use its speed to reposition. Something like the Czech tanks

 

It is after all, only a proposal for a new and much needed premium. Whilst the stats are assumed they can be improved.

But E 25 works because it has epic camo, and in addition to that, being a premium TD before the TD nerf, it still keeps its firing camo intact unlike all other in-game TD's sans premium TD's.

 

LCDA single-shot might be workable if its camo is unaffected by firing as well, but then if it were so WG would implement it on the KJPZ first. Otherwise it's gotta be an autoloader just to be unique.
