Seriously guys standard ammo on this tank is absolute rubbish against tier 10"s (unless you shooting sides and back) Can't hit barn from inside with this ammo.Have to use gold in order to penetrate is this another money making tank for wg???? Love that tank but don't want to pump money into ammo every week that's insane........On the other hand i have vk45b which in theory has worst gun but no such problem with that gun can pen any tank with standard ammo..... can someone explain this to me cos it doesn't make any sense to me.

250+/-10  AP pen is standard for a Heavy Tank on Tier X

So, in that regard it's AP pen is on the upper side on par with IS4/T110E5/T57Heavy but with the alpha of 560 lowest of all the Super Heavies but highest amongst the rest.

Besides, if you're on the test server PREMIUM rounds is quite prevalent.

It's not even lowest among the Super Heavies, it's got the same caliber gun as the Maus but has 70 more average damage. It's a HT but using the 12.8cm gun damage as the tier 9 TDs for some unknown reason

I'm honestly hoping that this is not a final product cos it's bad I mean i do more damage on my vk45b against t-10's with ap ammo than this so called better gun if they deprived this tank of 15cm gun like e-100 at least it should be a blast from 12.8 and it's not...please test it yourself and let me know if i am right or wrong cos at the moment i feel that vk45b is a better tank or even premium scorpion which is tier 8 TD (I'm just talking about damage and gun on ap ammo  not the actual armour of the tank)

Just had another game where penetrated type 5 heavy (lower frontal plate) with standard ammo and to my surprise did 1045hp damage it's almost like someone tweaked this gun just so i stop winging anyway guys disregard my post we'll see what the final product will be with the update and thanks for your replies.

Best penetration, best accuracy, second best damage per shot... the only let down is the poor reload/RoF/DPM

LOL, im sorry, but you dont even have a VK72.01K so what are you doing saying that the pzk7 is worse....

im one of the people against the introduction of the PzK7.... but! the idea that they are doing (giving it the Jagtiger 12.8CM cannon) is actually GOOD because it atleast means the CW variant still is unique compared to the pubby one that wg is letting you (*insert reference to bad stat players*) get in the normal tech tree
 

IF you want HIGH alpha get an e100, or fail your way to a [Japanese] HT..... because that things getting a stupid [edited] derp gun next patch...

so dont whine about the gun, its actually pretty decent, considering you pubbies should never be getting anything similar to the FailLowe in the first place., but you know WG listens to the masses, rather than to the people who play for the real end game content etc

Honestly, I dont understand why they didnt just take the model of the tier 8 Lowe, buff the armor, make it rear turreted and give it the gun the PzKpfw VII currently has... would have been a lot more different to the CW FaiLowe

Just as I expected they have nerfed the unit lowering speed etc. before final release.I think Maus is better option after all...... now with all buffs. By the way run_away_brave you're right i don't own wk7 so can't comment on that but what is wrong with that unit?????
