Could you consider enabling players to change the personal mission selection when a tank is already in a battle?

This could be particularly useful because most missions need different tanks eg. lower tier tank for kills missions and higher tier tank for damage missions, but when a tank is already in a battle and destroyed, its not possible to select a different mission of the same class till the battle ends. I cant think any negative effects of it by which one can take any unfair advantage of missions by any way, coz the mission selected for a particular battle will be "tied" to the result of that particular tank which went to battle selecting it.

You are assuming that the active mission is checked/validated at the beginning of the battle, and not at the end. It makes more sense to check at the end when the battle results are known that having to store what the current user selection is.

Just run run a different class of mission while you wait.

Yes we all do that, but I fail to understand why it makes sense to check it at the end of a battle. If someone selects a different mission of same class its not going to effect his achievement or non achievement in the previous battle or mission in any way.

At a guess it is one less variable that WG has to track, on every single player for every single battle.

WG does it already I guess? How can there be one more variable for a differently selected mission for different battle altogether?
