The described P2W theory is that players will just pay for gold and credit packages, premium tanks, premium time etc to more effectively finance their premium ammo spamming.
No amount of wordplay will change the fact that paying real money reduces or removes the need to spend time "grinding credits". Even those of you that use this as a "Not P2W" defence play premium account and often run premium or pref mm tanks. It's about opportunity cost.... and if you put more cash in you can spam more premium ammo more frequently per unit time played.
Personally I'd applaud WG if they ditched premium ammo and balanced the game around the remaining ammo types. I don't like the pay-more-to-pen application that in many instances negates superior play by another player. A limit on premium carriage may also assist but ultimately be pointless or inherently discriminating on some high alpha guns due to the number of shots made in a battle.
That is your own approach and you're entitled to it.
But some people can and will earn credits on lower tiers w/o the need for premium accounts to pay for PREMIUM round to use on higher tiers.
But for you who doesn't want that kind of approach guess you would call it PAY to WIN since you don't want to be bothered to play on low tiers to pay for your T8+ premium rounds and you just can't accept it since it is not your way.
And you can't be bothered it hence you would PAY (premium account/buy gold/premium tanks) to have a faster credit grind and would consider it as such.
That is your prerogative and if you think it as such it shall be as far as you are concerned.
But from others perspective who have the patience then it is not.
As with real world economy Premium would have an advantage over the standard and would cost as much since equality is but a dream ... since there would always be someone better and someone will always be on top.
How you get there is truly up to you.
