And i also a hellcat fan because it have good camo, gun, manuveribility good speed you can be a sniper or flanker
I use camo net,binocs,optics
I need advice about crew skill
For consumeable i bought fire extiguisher, repair kit,and med kit
For my playstyle i use this tank as a sniper, flanker, spotter(passive scouting from my sniper position)
What your opinion about that and give me your advice please?

And what your playstyle in this tank?

Should use a rammer with camo net and binos... optics is really pointless when you have camo net and bino, unless on the offchance you spot someone while yoloing around, when the hellcat is better off camo sniping targets by using the camo net and binos and rammer to boost the dpm.

Probably the original nerf. I didn't even know it was nerfed until someone mentioned it in a game and wished me luck. I have to say though, upgrading from the T67 felt more like a downgrade. In the T67 I could play far more agressively, but the M18 felt slow in comparison, slow traverse, slow turret traverse, and that gun from the T67 but slightly upgraded (76mm M1A2) felt quite hopeless, add to that most of my games were played at bottom tier, it made for one hell of a long, frustrating grind. Hearing "we didn't even penetrate them" when shooting anything that wasn't a SPG or LT in the side or back got old real fast. I've only just unlocked the 90mm, and can finally deal some damage to those Tier VIIIs.

Currently have a rammer, binos, and camo net equipped, as well as camo paint (every little bit helps). Optics is redundant if you're using binos, besides it's a bad choice to begin with if you're passive scouting (more for active scouting). Not sure about crew skills, so could do with some advice on that too. My crew for Nashorn (upgrading to St. Emil soon) are well into BiA for first skill. M18 has a different playstyle, so could possibly do with other skills as first, and BiA second? At some point you'll definitely want to train all crew with camo, but that's standard for all support TDs and passive scouts.

BiA is a perk not a skill and does not have any affect until at 100%.  Better off training all in Camo for your play style.

Urgent !

Does a Spall-liner help on Vehicles like T67, Hellcat.. Its open turret so to what extent is crew and vehicle protected compared to closed turret ?

and

http://wiki.wargaming.net/en/Equipment

"Increases armor thickness when calculating splash damage from High Explosive (HE) shells (near misses and non-penetrating hits both from tanks and SPGs) or from collisions with other tanks. Has no effect on penetrating hits from HE or other shells. Primarily useful on tanks that are already heavily armored, especially any of the Heavy Tanks and the British tank destroyers due to the greater effectiveness of the Heavy and Superheavy spall liners on already thick armor. Usage of the light and medium spall liners is not recommended, although exceptions may be made for designated ramming tanks. "

Effect is absolutely useless. Spall liners are only good for superheavies.

Spall-liners never work on paper thin skinned, open top TDs. Don't even get spotted & splashed. Direct HE spg shots hitting you would pen and smack you back into the lobby.

For TDs which their heads can turn 360 deg without moving the body, park your vehicle in the direction where you want to run before you start shooting. By the time your aiming circle swings around (if not using right mouse in the required shooting direction) and the accuracy bloom shrinks in, your net and tele should be up and running..

Regards,

Spuds

p.s. was in a toaster, got smacked by a tier 3 Wespe spg (when 3-5 MM was a thing). Vice-versa.
