I started reading about mods and learned that the xvm mods are a popular one for display information. I read that in order to use this mod you first have to go to the xvm home page and login to activate it.

My question: Can other people see my win% if I havent installed or activated this mod yet? Thanks in advance.

In short yes they can see your win rate, wn8, battles etc.

You have 846 battles so that doesn't matter too much right now you can start to improve from here on. I was on the same boat when I had that many battles and I have continuously improved since.

My advice is not to use XVM. Because you tend to get affected by it consciously or sub-consciously. For example, you look at the win chance or the team panel and you will have a tendency to be "resigned to fate" so to speak if the win chance is like 30% and the enemy team has like blues and purples. It's not worth it. You should try to do well in every game and have fun irregardless of XVM stats.

Yeah, most streamers don't use it too. Which i think it is for the better.

Stay away from XVM as it is mostly detrimental to new players and some old.

Instead of striving hard to improve it will mostly cause despair to newcomers of the game.

Be proactive instead of being reactive turn off XVM it will ease your stress.

When an enemy Arty "one shots" 2 of your teams' heavies and you're in a heavy tank, you know you're screwed.

A heavy tank should have armor and a big gun, if you don't have either then you're not.

There is more to XVM than just statistics. Which is surprisingly easy to turn off by the way. It also includes improved garage carousel, better zoom in/out management, ability to modify the players panel and over target markers, etc.

It can be useful to work out who in your team is worth helping or watching if you die early.

What Ezz says - useful info is available to show who you should be supporting and/or working with to have a positive impact to the team. It is also very easy to turn off the chance to win information within XVM if you are inclined to let those figures affect your play negatively in the battle.

Useful - if you know how to use it to your advantage and adapt approaches with how the team deploys in the 1st minute.

Detrimental to most that gives up upon seeing poor win % and the amount of REDs (not the enemy) on their team.

I've seen alot of players (arty mostly) that go drown themselves in the 1st minute of the match.

------------------------------------

With that being said it truly is not for beginners.

There is something magical about winning a game after some [edited] drowns themselves in the opening minutes because of XVM numbers.

Give it a go and see if you like it. It can be of use to you but as others have said you may not like seeing a lot of red.
