I noticed the server was suddenly pretty bad right after the Korean players migrate to the SEA server, and then, it was good again for 1 week, and now, it has been crap again since the weekend. Confirmed WG SEA server = potato?

any news on the serious high ping issues? totally not worth playing if these are still unresolved. As of today (17may2017 2:30pm manila time) ping still at 280-320 then spikes up to 600.

It's interesting reading who has problems and when.  The issues for me started the 26th march  (about the 5th pilot token)  when my ping jumped from 60 to 140 and the teleporting tanks began.    Had about 2 days of 60 ping between then and now.  Then on saturday night just gone, I was doing my nightly test to see if it was playable yet, when midgame the ping dropped from 140 to 60 and has been good for the last 4 days.

After 2 months straight of this what is going on WG?   from 7pm Aussie time to about 10-11pm Aussie time, ping in game is over 200!! , packet loss/rubber banding, etc etc

edit: Tan has forwarded on info on high pin and packet loss, appears to be a connection issue near the Singapore server.

Looking at the hop #7 and #9, first large latency occurred at a Hongkong node, then Singapore. So now the traffic is going from Australia to Hongkong then Singapore? This is definitely not the shortest path routing. No WoT until this dammed latency issue is resolved.

This is getting crazy, whole weekend nothing but huge packet loss (over 30%) and average of 270 ping, logged in this morning and p[ing is again over 250 and packet loss seems even more, I moved from the NA server to SEA to get better ping, seems that was a mistake.

Edit of ping trace, as Tan has sent it on to Support, enough to say that there seems to be an issue near the SG connection...

This is annoying. Didn't play all weekend, then come back to 200+ ping.

I haven't been experiencing issues with ping until 29AUG17, when the ping skyrocketed, and the game became unplayable.

Running EMCO Ping monitor against the two IP addresses 92.223.16.65 & 92.223.16.66 normally runs a ping for me at about 50/60ms, but since yesterday the ping has been sitting at 285/295ms.

Has anything significant changed.. or anything insignificant suddenly having an unexpected reaction?

Check the other numerous posts - cable sharks have struck over the past couple of days... First the HK - SG cable went early this week, 27th I think & yesterday the Perth-SG cable went. Looks like we got to put up with this for at least a month...

This could well be extended
