Can't feel any more ping spike  - so I won't post any pingplotter screenshot for today's gameplay.

It seems that ping problem has been solved for me... Hope other guys upload their own pingplotter screenshot and get some salvation :)

I have had this for several days since the last update, and last night was the worst... sudden ping jump to ~300-500ms for the whole game!
It was fine in the previous game I had and suddenly it happened for several games... before it came back to normal again...

it's just frustrating when WG just have lousier service from time to time, even for basic stuff like server reliability...

same here :( used to be 50 ms. Now its almost 200 +packet loss.

Some times ping indicator is normal (ping is below 200 actively varying) but completely unplayable with trank drifting all over the place without responding to any controls.

Ping is back to normal from yesterday for Me :)

Still an intermittent issue. 1 battle this arvo was terrible for about 4 mins.

I have pingplotter running now for the next time it happens.

I know there is still some issues for an IINet point. Which we are working on.

Yes, as you said, an issue with IINet has nothing to do with what ISP you are using. Its do do with the ports along the way.

I don't know if you fall under that fault or not though. The trace looks clear.
I'll send it off to the techies though they have the tools and knowledge to look properly.

Ahh ok, I did look up what ISP you were on, but it didn't tell me you were on IINet.

I don't have much information on the iinet issue, I just know our techie team has a fault lodged with IInet about a IInet network port/hub/whatever.. somewhere.

You are welcome, sorry there was issues that needed working on..
As far as I am aware all issues are fixed, except possibly an IInet point somewhere.. For which we have a fault lodged on.

I'm still looking into and working on a few topics, mainly cleanup, prevention, ETC ETC..

And keeping an eye on things in peak traffic times.

Tan

Bad lag this arvo. Hope this info confirms the issue you have a lodged a fault for with iinet.

bag lag from about 15 secs in and seemded to affect others in game based on chat. lasted for me for about 60 secs. Saved the pingplotter once lag ended.

I have been lucky so far, only happens once or twice a day. And so far not on  map where it is possible to drown or crash :)

The worst of it is over for me - ping doesn't fluctuate as badly anymore and the horrendous lag spikes aren't as common.

Still a little mediocre though, ping is still +40-50 ms on top of what I used to get and there is still the occasional jitter.

Is it iinet's fault for the remaining shoddyness? Should I grab my pitchfork?

Dear Tanitha.

My ping problem has been solved very well last time, but my friend still has some ping problems. Please check this screenshot and give him a salvation too :)

Good evening.

sg2-n5596-fe-1-vl231.fe.core.pw is showing huge variance in ping on my plots. This is the node that the WoT Asia server links to.

bundle-ether6.woo-core1.brisbane.telstra.net is showing packet loss.

My details:

Brisbane Location,

Telstra ISP

Cable (HFC) 100MBit, nil conjestion locally.

Having packet loss issues tonight ingame with some shot delay and loss of control.

Pingplots show zero packet loss. Ingame is bouncing upward of 165ms from 130 with the red light going nutty at intervals.

Tried normal play and via WTFast (which was making it worse in this instance but I'm not sure who they are contracted with for routing).

Having the same issue for the last two weeks now, during the day (Aussie Time Zone) no real issues, once it gets to around 6pm (Aus Daylight Saving Time) my ping jumps from 120-130 to 180-220, lags, skips etc etc, VERY frustrating

here is a copy of my trace this morning and il post another tonight with high ping...
